What really Happens in a Nuclear Blast? , page

I don't know if this has been posted here before or not. I'm posting it now because I think every once in a while,we should remind ourselves of the Monster we have
created and The Monster we can be. There is great debate here at our beloved ATS that I do enjoy. The debate's of Gods existence, tell me so much about those
on either side of these debates. I believe them to be the most telling, on a great expanse, of different levels.

I mention this because, we have alienated ourselves from God. So many try to
"make their case" for his lack of interest in us, or his absolute non existence, in a simple question like," If there is a God why dosn't he show himself"? Many will
claim, " If there is a God he dosn't care about us". Niether could be farther from the truth because you see if there is a God? This is not what he intended for us.

I say again we have alienated God from us. We chose to walk not with him and he
knew where that walk would take us. He knew the monsters we would create. He knew what we would become. He didn't need to stick around to see if he was right.
He was right.

If the above two are indeed true - it would seem god/it has alienated itself from us...

When I was younger I read the book "Hiroshima". It was in fact one of the most compelling and horrific stories I have ever read.

Such knowledge comes with great responsibility.

We must never allow these weapons to be used again. Or anything like it.

I highly recommend everyone to read Hiroshima, it details accounts from survivors of the real event in history.

Hiroshima and Nagasaki were the two darkest days in our history.

It is highly rated and extremely good. Must read for everyone.

It describes exactly what it was like inside a nuclear blast.

I would remind you that we chose to walk without him. Without his guidence.Do you honestly think he would allow such use of his physics. You have to see that if you consider his existence to be real.K? We chose the road that has led to our weak misguided use of all he has created no way around it that's what we have done.

History is irrelevant to our leaders.

Signals you said a mouthful. So much is irrelevent to them. I think unless
there is some intervention this will be the case. Hopefully what is going on in our world recently is that intervention.

I don't think anyone said anything to contrary Anned. Or are you just
clarifying your opinion? If so I agree with you, Japan in every way
even thru there traditions were asking for it when they attacked us.

There own Yamamoto knew immediatly they messed up. Even though
it was crushing victory for Japan. Yamamoto was right not celebrate.
He didn't even enjoy their greatest victory. Yamamoto was one of the
smartest men in Japan at that time.

People did die from radiation sickness at Hiroshima and Nagasaki. It wasn't long after the bombs were dropped, perhaps a matter of weeks, that people began moving back into the affected areas. A lot of them died. That said, a lot of them didn't. The ones that survived did so because the radiation levels for the most dangerous particles have very short half lives and dissipate to safe levels rather quickly.

I'd also point out that you don't need a nuclear weapon to achieve similar effects to those seen at Hiroshima and Nagasaki (excluding the radioactivity). An example of that is the conventional bombing raid on Tokyo on March 10th, 1945 that killed 100,000 people and left much of the city looking almost exactly like the pictures seen from the other two. It wasn't the only time that happened, either.
