This is just being reported now, apparently the man is cooperating but still has a bomb strapped to him.

Very odd, I can't help but think it may be tied to 'conspiracy theorists' in the coming days, we seem to be quickly turning the new Al-Qaeda (domestic terrorists). I guess we shall have to wait and see.

*Update*
It seems he is now in custody.

Lets see how long before they provide a description of this gent in liberal Seattle. If he is a Muslim they will not report until they are absolutely forced to do it. My suspicion, having lived here for a while is that were he not Muslim they would have reported it immediately. They have a description of this guy. There were many eye witnesses.

If he is not a Muslim does that mean he was not an Islamic terrorist? No, of course not. If he is Muslem is that relevant? Yes in my opinion it is

Interesting that the guy thought he was a vampire and needed food. Well I guess he will get fed in prison, prison style. Either this guy was faking the bomb or he really did not want to die.

Wrapped in black duct tape, he walked into a shelter and said he was a Vampire and wanted to eat people for breakfast...

typical day weather wise...no rain, but completely overcast.

but the rain doesn't have anything to do with it. This city is full of homeless people, many of them are completely insane like this guy. I've expressed my disgust for the city in this regard in other threads. This is just more reason to clean up the downtown area, which is a haven for homeless drug addicts and mental cases. One of the cons to living in a very liberal city.

Truth is, I was being a bit facetious.

I know Seattle well - personally, I prefer the Uni. district to downtown, though.

Oh, don't even get me started on the ave rats over in the U district.
I was over there yesterday, and some drunk old homeless guy was stumbling around where I parked my car...and on my side of the street, 2 more homeless guys walking in opposite directions. It's like they're everywhere. They need to ship all these bums to detroit, or maybe let the vampire guy run free for a while.....maybe he'll eat em all?

works for me.
