this just goes to show you how nuts glen beck is. people have been enjoying the "boss" long before that lunatic beck showed up. why is he even being discussed. i can't stand the guy.

To make matters worse the very party that Bruce let use the song is currently full of the same folks that were out there calling Vets baby killer and the like. It was because of them, those that are currently called progressives, that vets had to "spend half their life trying to cover it up".

Bruce made a song about how he feels. Fine. Now, the way it has been used by others over the years, that can qualify as propaganda. I have no specific instances but I know how this song and others have been used to create this illusion that the USA can do no wrong.


Ronnie Regan tried to use it as his campaign song.

Bruce slapped him down, told him "No way, Jose". It's a protest song not a jingoist's anthem.
