Ah thank you for that link and for the advice.

And the information you provided in that link is certainly bizarre to say the least as well.

And i fully agree an ouija board is not something to take lightly and as you say "play with" it is something IMO which deserves maximum respect.

Yes but curiosity is getting the better of me.

That's better than having something sinister get the better of you.

Please do not do it. Heed the warnings of those who have. Interesting your thread came up at the same time the story of the girl from Spain did.

I think that's a coincidence worth noting.

This isn't really the thread for that to be honest....Try the ATS Issues Thread but there is nothing on your profile to suggest that you made a ouija board thread as well.

Well believe it or not i actually didn't even see that other thread so yes that is a bit of a Big coincidence. (if you believe in coincidences that is)

But i still would like to try it one day(ouija board) i mean i wouldn't like to think that fear has ever or will ever stop me from doing anything ever.

I've used one many times with friends who believed in it.

And I have to say, it's a load of tripe.

Basically you have your finger on this pointer along with a few other people and the "forces that be" are supposed to move it, either channeling through you or whatever.

Well, it did move and I was positive I wasn't pushing or pulling, as were my mates. However I started asking questions and noticed it either went to what i expected or wanted to hear. So I asked a question in my head and sure enough it moved.

So i let go of the pointer and asked out loud a question which only I knew the answer to. It didnt get it right. And it was really sketchy.

So I turned around and said how many fingers am I hold up and it got it wrong continuously. Not *too* hard if a ghost is present.

Nothing ever came of it. It's merely a device that allows your unconscious to exert itself, fullfilling your ego's wishes. nothing more.

Nothing sinister, nasty, devlish or naughty about it. Use it for a laugh!

Yes i am fairly determined to try it myself because i'd much rather prefer to have my own opinion on something opposed to people telling me what it should be......

Although i am grateful for everyones input still.

And yes if enough stuff happens and i get some evidence to back up what i claim happened then i will post about it.
