Does any of it really matter anyways? America never won her independence. The bank of England and vested elite interests i.e. the bankers have been controlling us ever since our inception. We all since we are young naive children are led to believe in this America that does not and can be argued never existed. Yet the beat plays on.

Look...............it doesn't matter at all who is POTUS. The Presidential position has been a puppet position going on 60+ years.

It's simple...........until we change our monetary system in this country NOTHING WILL CHANGE! Jefferson was warning us about banks 200+ years ago. They are more dangerous than standing armies.

Give me control of a nationa's money supply and I care not who makes its laws!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Until we seize back our sovereign right as a nation of people to issue debt free currency and money supply nothing matters. You get rid of the federal reserve and the death grip private banks have on us and you change our country forever and for good. Until that happens everything else is a circus.........created and put forth to keep us guessing, to keep us divided, and to keep us occupied!

The ONLY poltician that is even talking mainstream about doing such things is RON PAUL! He's not perfect and his answers may not be the best......but he's the only one even engaging in the dialogue that needs to be engaged in. Obama is a whimp....an empty suit...........a schmuck in every sense of the word. He in no way deserves to represent the American people. He's not my President and I never voted for the guy. What the hell has he done to deserve to lead the American people?

My god at least Lincoln knew how to use an axe Obama probably couldn't sleep out in the woods without crapping his pants. Presidents are whimps nowadays. Clinton, Bush Jr, and now Obama!!!!!!

Gone are the men that know how to lead........that aren't afraid to stand up....and fight!!!!!

And as far as I'm concerned Woodrow Wilson should have been hanged for treason............Obama deserves everything that's coming and so does every President, Congressman, Senator, do nothing not willing to stand up and fight for the American people.

In 1981/82' Reagans approval ratings were at average 40%, in 1993 Clintons approval rating sank to as low as 30%, 1994 it was 45%. Whats the point? That opinion polls are not dictators of a presidents entire term. Right now we are in a bad economy with two wars, unemployment highs and naturally people are going to blame the man in charge, and ironically Obama predicted just this fact during his campaign. The fact is, i didnt matter whether it was Obama, McCain, Romney, Clinton who was in power, the economy in its state is not going to improve for some time and there is nothing government can do to change that fact other than to stimulate and relax pressure on businesses.

The split between supporters and opposers of the stimulus have not changed much. The same people oppose and discredit the stimulus to this day, the same people still support it. Both sides are stubborn where the stand.

This healthcare bill at current is not real reform. Real reform was the proposal introduced during the campaign and in January before it go cut up and kicked around to suit the agenda's of certain groups. So I will agree, this healthcare plan has more opposition but interms of wanting healthcare reform now, its not changed all that much. Sme people are insisting we cant have reform now while other say the opposite.

I dont know what you define as his core but I still support him as president. his not perfect, broke some promises (non surprisingly) and has not taking down the patriot act, but he has satisfied me more over his 90 or so promises he has thus kept out of 400.

Actually Obama hasn't performed very well at all.

You do know that in the recent "Jobs" bill all of the expiring provisions of the patriot act were reinstated don't you? Your statement - he is not talking down the patriot act - seems to be a bit naive. He's not talking down the patriot act because he supports it - he has actually reinstated it!
