Out of curiosity, why would the next step be an RFID chip(I'm assuming you mean implant)?

You passport already has one. So do your debit and credit cards.

You can guarantee that a national ID would have it as well.

If we are all carrying multiple, why would they bother to go through the time, expense and trouble of trying to inject people?

Bad news. Someone was pointing out the flaws of this type of system back in 2004. Here is some of their information on this subject 6 years ago.

"These two things are what give the card it's supposed power and are it's fatal flaws:

1. If the card and it's contact with the central database is required for day-to-day activities then the creators of this system will have created a single point failure system for the entire country. That database, it's power supply, it's communication lines, it's software, everything about it will be a means to bring this country to a halt. This database, by necessity, must have hundreds of thousands of entry points accepting millions of connections each day. The more access points the more vulnerable the system is to attacks. Any building that requires the card for access, any business that requires the card for transactions will be vulnerable to having it's communication channel severed. A UBID as envisioned by it's proponents will have created a huge vulnerability to our society that cannot be allowed to exist.
2. Any central database that has the ability to track every move, every transaction of a person will be a tool of tremendous potential for abuse. It will dramatically fail my Jews in the attic test. No rules, regulations or laws can prevent abuse by those people that enforce the laws. This has been repeatedly proven not only in the classic cases of Nazi Germany and the USSR, but in our own country with such examples as the illegal access of census records to find and detain American citizens of Japanese descent during WWII."

I believe people are overestimating what RFID does. Its a radio frequency emitter. Its not GPS. Its not a tracker. It doesnt follow every move.

Like I said before, if you live in the western world, you already carry one, possibly 2. And there have been no cyber attacks. There have been no attempts to track every move.

I think my remarks are relevant to the National ID and as such I must explain how and in what way.

Recently, I was in a Mexican restaurant getting some tacos when I picked up a Spanish Newspaper Flier that you see if you ever go into a real Mexican food place. Most of these free newspapers are in Spanish and since I can read Spanish I said to myself, why not. So I picked one and began to read while I waited for my tacos to be fixed.

Well anyway, in this newspaper on the front page was a huge article with a picture of Obama asking for 650,000 thousand Mexicans to come to the USA and work on the many government building projects going on all across the USA.

When I read further it indicated that many federal and military new facilities were being built and this is why Obama was extending a warm welcome to any Mexican that applied to come work in the USA. They were guaranteed a work Visa and other benefits as an inducement to come to the USA and work on federal government projects. Obama indicated in the comments provided that such building would go on for many years as if to indicate it was a long term benefit to consider coming to the USA and working for Uncle Sam, Patron Obama.

I was shocked and wondered what could be going on that would on one hand ask for 650,000 Mexicans to come to the USA while on the other hand making loud public noises about immigration issues and a need for amnesty for those that have overstayed their work Visas while pushing for a National ID in the same breath. I also was reminded that unemployment in the USA is probably running around 22% and so I stopped reading and began to think about what it all meant.

I realized that the immigration issue is a politicized issue that is being used by the Obama circus of imbeciles to get cheap labor and at the same time use immigration to usher in National ID and other draconian measures that have nothing to do with Mexicans or immigration. Bottom line is that I got the feeling it was all about the money and if that it is the case, Uncle Sam wants some long term cheap slave labor that can also be used to assist in their political goals of getting everyone in America on a National ID as if it will benefit the American public in some grand way.

Anyway, this is a good discussion piece and I thank you for posting it. I just wonder if foreign construction companies are building American facilities with American tax dollars? Now that would also be a good discussion topic.

Wow if they're doing it where pot is legal -- then this shi## will go down here in the Evil Empire.

After that the New World Order should kick and then it's FEMA fun with Dick Cheney in the underground reptilian alien tunnels.
