I agree. If 1/4 of all women have herpes by now... I would have caught it quite a few times.

Surely they mean HPV ?!?!?!?!

I know the HPV % is high, and most people infected, show NO symptoms at all, and are simply carriers/spreaders.


Herpes, however... Doesn't Herpes tend to cause open wounds and crap? How could much of the population not notice that crap??

I'm not buying it. They are confused.

I've heard this for years, but the 48% of black women thing is news to me. I dont think I have herpes and none of my exes who I still talk to have ever said anything and most of them have kids so I'd think they'd know wouldnt they?

If you are worried about herpes outbreak, try to eat foods high in protein.

But maintain the aminoacid profile in favor of lysine and lower on arginine.

Really, this makes me feel bad... because this is completely believable.

I dated a girl for awhile with herpes, I don't have it, (probably because I'm a white male and all viruses are sexist and racist, sarcasm over), but I see tons of women with it, and they chalk it up to just that they cut their lip on a coke can, or a blister, or wind burn, or whatever, women lie... so I can be assured it's herpes.




I'm not surprised at all, the town I'm in is riddled with it, and a few cities over AIDs is rampant, I stay the **** away from there! So does everyone else in the surrounding cities, it's like we all know not to talk touch speak look at people from that city......

Plus some people can have herpes and never ever show symptoms of it, it is fairly serious since it doesn't go away. Still though it's more common than you think.

And guys out there, when you're pulling that one night stand, girls are just or even more horny than you are, and they will lie about whatever they have, or even insist that they believe you have something to cover up what they have, so watch yourself, and girls, well.... you already know us guys lie, so just be suspicious everyone, cause a distrust of people could be good in a sexual way, cause you'd rather be extra extra extra sure you're not gonna get an STD, than get laid.

Plus people I've met with oral herpes, don't consider it an STD, and technically it isn't, so if she goes down low, or he goes down low, be careful, cause if he/she is telling you they don't have an std, you can still get it from their technically non std.

unless maybe this is world-wide and they are counting
the high numbers of black women in africa and then get
an average number by combining all nations. But that number
in America alone is just downright absurd.

The powers that be might be trying to scare you into abstinence cutting back on that population, or nieve racists scaring an ethnic groups children into not having sex with other ethnic groups, or like someone said before about the pharma communities, or it is the truth, or it is a blatent lie, maybe its just a bull crap headline paid for by advertisers for some crook who knew a ton of people would at least check it out

There is only one reason more women than men would be infected, by a fairly substantial number.

I'll leave you to decide how those numbers correlate.

Now do not get me wrong here my black friends and i love racist jokes, i just sent this to a few of them and we are laughing. Im a firm believer that humor is good ofr you but there is also a time and place for everything, i do not see a newspaper to be the right place for stuff like this.
Anyway where did they get these number from? I could get simmilar statistics if i really tried. Did they only count black girls that went to the doctor complaining about something that could be herpes? That is the only way i could buy this.

I've probably only seen at least 50,000,000 people in my lifetime, so there probably isn't billions of people out there!
