"Jihad Jane Indictment alleges threat from within US"

www.latimes.com

Reporting from Washington - Using e-mail, YouTube videos, phony travel documents and a burning desire to kill "or die trying," a middle-aged American woman from Pennsylvania helped recruit a network for suicide attacks and other terrorist strikes in Europe and Asia, according to a federal grand jury indictment unsealed Tuesday.

Colleen R. LaRose, who dubbed herself "Jihad Jane," was so intent on waging jihad, authorities said, that she traveled to Sweden to kill an artist in a way that would frighten "the whole Kufar [nonbeliever] world."

With blond hair and green eyes, the 46-year

What's next, I wonder, it seem's as though the alleged terrorists are falling out of the woodwork these days. I can hardly believe the local news here reported that she used her alleged alias " Jihad Jane" to conduct business during this supposed criminal activity. Why would anyone take " jihad Jane " as an appropriate name, is beyond me, but, in this world of today I guess nothing is too crazy, eh. Very interesting story though and I'm sure we will all want to know how this plays out.

BECAUSE SHE WAS A JANE DOE.

Seriously, the different 3 letter agencies are behind most of this stuff.

I am not buying this story. There is an agenda here that has nothing to do with this made up Jane Doe story. Here is what is most telling about the article.

Michael L. Levy, the U.S. attorney in Philadelphia, said the case shows "the use terrorists can and do make" of communicating through e-mails and videos around the world." He called LaRose "yet another very real danger lurking on the Internet."

Translation: Internet must be controlled. Only approved information should be allowed. Internet: dangerous. People finding out too much information. Man behind curtain has been revealed. People have peered into the "heavens" and now they see how the magic of the "invisible hand of god" really works. We are running scared of CT's.

"Terrorists are looking for Americans to join them in their cause," Levy said, adding that LaRose "shatters any lingering thought that we can spot a terrorist based on appearance."

Translation: Expect to see more ordinary Americans arrested and branded as terrorists because of internet material they are reading and the websites they are posting on.

But her alleged motivation was not completely clear Tuesday night.

Translation: We are slapping this story together quick (haven't come up with connecting details to make it valid) because we are just throwing out a reason to try to convince the mindless sheeple that when they see their mild-mannered neighbors arrested next week, not to be alarmed.

"She appeared to be one of those people who spend a lot of time online and go to all these radical websites and chat rooms," one source said.

Translation: People who go on internet have too much time on their hands. We are going to put a stop to all this information.

This story is all over the news, yet it seem's generated little or no interest here... got eclipsed by the falling birds, and the purple snow perhaps... Heck, it even got posted in another 2 threads this morning, but not much feedback... Hmmm, I wonder why that is???

More on this here.... Strange how she was arrested but this was not disclosed due to other suspects being watched, while the investigation continued....

If you read some of the posts on this site you would see that this jihad Jane is not alone, sure she might go for the Muslim contingent against the USA, but there are a lot of different factions on the rise that want to destroy this country.

Not to fear monger or anything, but the US has pissed off a lot of people lately, inside the country and out.

I'm curious, what is it about this thread, that encourage's little or no discussion, is it that she's blond, no, is it perhap's she got caught, no, is it maybe, that she's a she, I don't believe that is the case, so what is it...?????? the title is in line with the article, as requested, and kinda catchy too, if ya ask me, she's been supposedly followed by members of the internet, and tracked for 3 yrs, yet no one cares, or seem's to give a @#$&, I am very concerned as to why, might start a whole new thread on why ATS'ers aren't following a decent thread....

Have you actually studied her case? I believe she has been "trapped". Why do I say this because if you read in detail about her case you will find that she started posting you tube videos of herself with statements that she wanted to help and do something about atrocities on Muslims and along those lines etc. After which 2 or approx. I think 3 people contacted her thru emails saying she should assassinate the cartoon artist. Those same people are the witness against her imo, their names are held with CIA. Using those evidence CIA has charged her. This is just a rough outline of the whole matter.

Yes, I have read them, and yes, I too feel she may have been led into this out of deppression, or loneliness, or whatever, she didn't seem too well balanced, and that's kinda why i was interested in getting some response to this, in regards to figuring out what happened, and the dynamics of it, somewhat, so thank you for your post, and I hope I answered your questions.

Too bad she is American and we cant deport her.

I personally would like to see how she would like to live in a Muslim Theocracy.

If this isnt just another fabrication of the MSM and the PTB to provide an excuse to infringe further on our constitutional rights, she deserves everything she gets, and then some.

The first time I heard Jihad Jane in the news I thought they were talking about Jane Fonda and her Vietnam debacle.

Curious how this Jihad Jane woman got her name, I'm thinking the similarity to ""Hanoi Jane" is perhaps an attempt of getting more publicity than she deserves.

I hear ya, and yes, everything she deserves, I too feel she was living in "Jihad" fantasyland, and was not understanding the actions she was taking could be extremely serious, and had no idea what it would result in, as a real life scenario....

That could very well be, and an excellent point, I didn't catch that at first, but now that you pointed it out, that is very curious.
