on the other hand i would love to learn more martial arts in general so i think video tutorials would be nice, just leave the 2012 part out of it

I want input from you too here.
I am not sure how we should go about delivering this project.
The concept is to never let more than 4 ounces of oppositional force build on your body.
And in return use no more than 4 ounces to uproot an opponent.

It is impractical to sticky hands half a dozen men with assault rifles. Certainly the concept still applies...but it is much easier to avoid four ounces of bullets by not being in the building when they're fired.
I would assert that the entire physical form of Tai Chi is merely a tool to convey understanding of the flow of energy. Not all energies take the form of a single man standing politely in front of you.

That's funny I don't remember the concept of rifles or other firearms entering into the MARTIAL ARTS discussion that is the subject of this thread.
This is precisely the attitude that has allowed tai chi to prosper in the face of violent ignorance for 2 thousand years. Tai chi evolved out of necessity to respond to radicalized shaolin kung fu. Internal martial arts have strengths beyond the average persons perceptions; another strength if ever called upon.
It would not have prospered for this long and have been hidden secretly within family traditions for so long were it not effective.

And for the record, kickboxing is probably
the LAST MA that I would go learn.
If you take some time (7 years and more depending on your talent and dojo)
you can learn to fight pretty good no matter what martial art you practice.
