Interesting.

But to me it appears stationary. From the quality of the video, I cannot tell if it is something in the sky or on the ground, perhaps on a distant hill.

It appears stationary, but that might be the whole point as
electro-magnetohydrodynamically powered flight systems
(from what is supposedly described in some literature)
would provide a performance envelope that would ALLOW
stationary hovering for long periods of time.

The shape is right and there ARE KNOWN triangular black
budget craft (i.e. The R&D and Ops Black Budget will be
almost 62 billion this year) from LMCO (Lockheed Martin)
and Northrup that fit that shape profile. The one issue
I have is them flying it over Brazil...I can understand
Britain, Australia and of course Canada, but Brazil?

Highly unlikely for a craft like the TR-3B Locust/Astra.
So I am going to posit a more conventional turbine-powered
carbon-composite drone or semi-rigid lighter than air
triangular blimp being flight tested by someone like Embraer
or maybe even a JOINT USA/Brazil recon craft effort used
for more general surveillance.

If you want more realistic TR-3B flight paths...I could suggest
something like the Utah/Nevada to Alaska off the coast of
British Columbia run. Or the Puerto Rico to Mid-atlantic or
Afghanistan overflight recon run ... Another recon run would be
the Broken Hills, Australia over to North Korea/Lower China
run or the less often used Westchester/Hudson Valley New York or
Smoky Mountains Virgina/Georgia/Tennessee/North Carolina
low-level test flight runs used for pilot induction and
familiarization training.

So again, my guess is a semi-rigid "Stealth-like Blimp"
or a more conventionally powered but still triangular
autonomous or remotely controlled surveillance craft.

I suggest someone do a satellite video scan of
the 13 to 21 GHZ range and even in the short range
2 to 5 GHZ range for unencrypted video communications.

Hope this helps!

----

I do have one HUGE ISSUE with the video....TURN OFF
YOUR AUTOFOCUS and AUTO-IRIS!!!...The camera focus
and aperture (iris) mechanism samples the brightest or nearest
object and sets the focus and iris to the lens configuration that
best matches the computed video image frame-samples.

Ergo, we get the diamond-like lens difraction effect we see
on zoom-ins --- Turn OFF THE AUTO-FOCUS AND AUTO-IRIS
and MANUALLY focus the lens and stop-down the iris until
you no longer see the bright white blooming (fuzzy) edges.

I can raise the light levels in Photoshop/After Effects to bring out
more detail but at the very least I need decently shot video.

See these Tips:

and

and

in order to make better video!

Hope it helps.

U2U me if you have good footage and I'll see what I can do to
bring out the detail in photoshop/after effects (that would be
gratis as in FREE - won't cost you a cent for my services!)

G'day blaws572

Thank you for posting that video.....I always find it interesting to consider such things

In my opinion this video does not offer enough information to exclude:

- A kite

- A reflection in the window

- CGI

I also note I could not locate any sort of report to accompany the video.

On balance, I think it's probably a kite.

Keep looking.......better luck next time!

Kind regards

I believe he is filming a reflection off the window, because the object is stationary and he is shooting through the window. If you notice he is carefull about filming it and he keeps it between the two bars, i think if the object went by the bars outside his window you would see it infront of the bars. also if it was right there why did he stop filming?

I don't know, it certainly looks real to me. There seems to be an awful lot of UFO activity in South America.

I think that some of the video we see has just been poorly edited and is suddenly switched on and then cut off abruptly. Either to reduce the size of the file for the hosting site or simply to "get to the good stuff" and end the video as soon as the best footage is over.

Not only can those 3 not be ruled out, but the attitude seems to be wrong for a TR-3B or a craft like a TR-3B. By attitude, I mean the 3 lights in the corners would probably be relatively equidistant from the ground if it were a real aircraft including a lighter than air rigid craft as somebody suggested, and it appears they are NOT equidistant from the ground. I wouldn't expect an advanced propulsion craft over Brazil but even if we forget that bias, again the attitude would probably match the ground better, especially if it's just hovering.

I don't see enough information to really pick one of those 3 and I would even add a possibility of a balloon with some lights attached to it on a frame of some sort, that might even be more likely than a kite, but we really can't tell what it is. And without a sighting report, it doesn't have much credibility. But I do think it's something other than an aircraft based on the apparently odd attitude.

I agree with the critique about photographic technique though I got the idea the poster is not the photographer. They not only need to turn autofocus off but also get a tripod, and most importantly from a credibility standpoint, would anyone here just stop filming something if they thought it was a real TR-3B? If it was me I'd keep filming till I ran out of tape, storage, or batteries, or until it flew away out of sight. And don't tell me anybody has a 1 minute limit on video uploads, you can get about 10 minutes on youtube.

G'day Arbitrageur

If you look closely at the smaller light that is not 1 of the "corner" lights, it seems to move around a little, as if it could be swinging on a connecting string or line from below.

That's why I've gone for the kite option.....but it's all a bit vague.

If it is CGI, then I suppose someone could have attempted to duplicate that sort "light moving along the edge of the object" effect as per some other "triangle" videos.

I agree completely with your point about the "attitude" or "angle" of the object as compared with the ground.

Kind regards

the way he films it seems suspicious, when you see his porch railing I also see another similar tall building like an apartment, and its too dark to tell if hes actually looking at the sky.

also, why do these people only film it for a minute if its not a hoax? I know I would be filming that thing until I ran out of tape or it flew off/disappeared.

but maybe its that TR-3B and the pilot had to stop and take a whiz....I mean, its not like they can just land and find a porta-potty
