okay, let me ask you: Does Yeshua want you to believe in him because the laws of Caesar demand it? Does Yeshua want you to practice charity by force of law? Is taxing senior citizens into having to eat cat food to survive, taxing the widowed and already impoverished into even worse circumstances, sound like something Yeshua would condone? If people were allowed to actually make money these days and keep the money they earned and give of it charitably when they wanted to, the quality of living would go up for everyone. But as it stands, we're all going to the poor house together.

Exactly. That's what I'm saying. I have no problems with helping out the needy, but I do have a problem when the government decides that they need to "redistribute my wealth" to who THEY think is needy.

Guess what? I don't want to give my money to welfare cheats! I'd rather keep it in my local area helping people here.

Actually its prescriptions and medical costs that usually drive the elderly to cat food as opposed to taxes.

Most people on social security and disability don't get taxed. I know I don't.

Beck is a joke, This prick had an opportunity to use his platform pre-election to push everything he preaches now, and yet he used that platform to mock and destroy anyone who preached everything he preaches now.

And amazingly after the elections are said and done, beck joins FNC and starts supporting everything he destroyed prior to said elections?

This guy makes me sick.

Hes a puppet designed to inspire civil unrest so that "they" will have they excuse they need to take even more from us.

I love the "eye of the needle" quote you used.
The eye of the needle is an architectural feature in a brick wall. So the openings often came up to a point.

It is necessary for a person riding a camel to bend over to pass through such an opening.

Many rich people are too proud to bend.

Our government has been practicing redistribution of wealth since day ONE.
Every tax is redistribution of wealth. The money an employer decides to pay you is redistribution of wealth and the money he keeps IS NOT.

You need to let go of this man. You fight a fight that ends with you being the loser.

Redistribution of wealth is just a fancy name for the rich not wanting to lose more of their money...profits that supposedly create jobs which is a total lie.

The only thing that creates jobs is demand. It's all a lie man. The same people bitching about distribution of wealth are the same ones paying slave labor in other countries.

THEY WOULD DO IT HERE IF THEY COULD.

They don't care man. They just don't.

The worst thing is that it's a designed "civil unrest" to protect BILLIONARES and transnational corporations who would rather pay us bread crumbs than a decent working wage so we can TAKE CARE OF OUR FAMILIES.

He's completely twisted where he was and people are following him. I hope they get it and see through it. I think some are.

had they not lost the money they were forced to pay in taxes their whole lives, there'd be more money in the bank and a better retirement. as it stands, they were forced into paying their money into social security taxes that were meant to help them in old age and which barely covers the cost of a tank of gas. the inflationary rate is not being met by cost of living increases nor does the payment reflect what such a huge investment normally would've made them literally ANYWHERE ELSE in the market. and now they're actually talking about the program being broke. how do you go broke when you've had trillions of peoples dollars for several generations, to intelligently invest so that it never has to spring a leak? THEY SPENT THE ELDERLY PEOPLE'S MONEY. that's how.

don't get me wrong, i think taxes have a place. we need our infrastructure to remain intact, our service depts, like the military police firemen post office road repair and so forth, to remain intact and that does take money. and i personally believe in helping others, have donated many times to several charities even though we don't qualify as even middle class we've been in poverty level to lower middle class for most of our lives. i have dutifully paid my taxes, but the tax thing has gotten out of hand. it has eaten away at the financial stability of the country and has gotten to the point of absurdity.
the fees and permits and fines levied against small business owners as a form of tax, have closed the mom and pop businesses from the rural areas to the inner cities. the country has gone tax crazy.

So who do you have your beef with; the rich or the government?

I don't have a problem with paying taxes. It's a necessary evil if the roads are going to be repaired, etc.

I do have a problem with my taxes going up because the government thinks I'm "rich" and my "wealth" must be redistributed to a fourth generation welfare family.

It's not that I have a beef with the rich....I guess it all depends on what one thinks "rich" equates to.

The powers that control our government has insane amounts of money and most of them have interests that are not within our country.

Government is corrupt...yes...most of us agree on that...but why? MONEY. Those who have the most will have the most say in dictating our laws. Your vote or my vote is meaningless to millions of dollars.

A transnational corporation can only function under the laws we provide them and the tariffs we enforce. Our government is failing massively because of this...and the reason for the failure is the same as the cause.

We're both in the same boat. The truth is...if those at the top truly wanted to stop this madness...they could.

They could pay up...they could save all of our wages...our jobs...our standard of living.

They won't. They don't care.

The wealthy controls the government. So who is it really that is forcing you...who is struggling...to pay MORE taxes???

And why do they keep advocating tax cuts for the wealthiest and claiming that it creates jobs when we know that's not true?

this is what i personally think happened:

our universities were invaded by hordes of socialists and communists a few generations ago, with the plan of bringing down the western world and capitalism. in turn, we sent hordes of capitalists to bring down socialist countries. eventually, they reached a compromise that was decidedly in the favor of the socialists, i.e., pretend the capitalists won the cold war, and enact so many tax laws and fines and fees, that their businesses will either go belly up or be forced to move out of the country - no more capitalism in the western world. instead the financial power house that was once the usa is now shifted to a country that is not only socialistic but flat out communist.

when american businesses have to move to stay afloat, give them only so many options to choose from, most specifically countries that are already pro-socialism and who are willing to maintain the facade that capitalism has won the day. this is so they can blame anything that goes wrong in the world on capitalism. its the same ruse used by the holy roman empire -- i.e, surround yourself with protection ,beat the hell outta the guy next door and blame it on the guy down the street who has the same name.
