Word of advice: It's a good idea to chase down the actual source for such blog articles.

In this case, the information is much more clearly displayed and has additional text which expands on the list.

Lol, What exactly is this 'kill weapon' the USA cannot deal with? I have a feeling its all talk if their government actually said this.

from maxmars link

“After years of conjecture, details have begun to emerge of a "kill weapon" developed by the Chinese to target and destroy U.S. aircraft carriers.

"The size of the missile enables it to carry a warhead big enough to inflict significant damage on a large vessel, providing the Chinese the capability of destroying a U.S. supercarrier in one strike.

and i hate to be pedantic and all (i really do) but predictions about what china might have in 2025 or 2030 are hardly facts.

Thanks for the link. The People's Republic of China is becoming a bigger influence day by day. Soon Americans are going to fear a new Socialist power in the world. The United States can learn a lot from China about how they govern themselves, their economy and so on. Hopefully this won't result into another Cold War.

The only problem is the DF-21 has a range of only a few thousands square kilometers, and is highly dependent on external assets to locate and track the US carriers. The notion that it cannot be dealt with is patently false as discussed in this thread (Also, don't miss out on The Godfather of Conspira's complete lack ability to make a coherent logical, (peaceful) argument). Given this fundamental error, it seems to me as if that blog is nothing more than propaganda.

regardless what anybody says by pure population alone the Chinese are taking over the rest of the world. the Indians arnt that far behind. Its not that hard to believe that with the kind of rigid governmental structure they have and the drive they posses(as a country) that they WILL be the next big power house.

a cold war?? america is fighting to stay alive lol a war with china would be like a mangy half staved dog going up against a pitbull on roids. America likes to pick on weak and pathetic countries like Afghanistan and Iraq. they like to fuel bomb people that live in mud huts and shoot rockets from caves. simpletons that have no real cohesion. why do you think they didnt do a dam thing when north korea tested missiles onto alaska. its because they knew they had no oil. so to answer you question china and america wont have a cold war because china has already won lol americans just havent figured it out yet. still a bit dazed from watching all those movies eating all that junk food and smoking all that pot.

You're both right and wrong. Don't give up on the USA just yet. China knows they're becoming a better bigger power with a great economy, the USA knows the PRC has a better influence around the globe And the USA also has a great influence around the world. We just have to see what country plays their cards right and can stand the heat longer.

china has shown it has the focus and drive to parley their massive population in a ordered and singularly driven force. their industry had grown based purely on cheap labor. quality second quantity first. just like post war japan. once refinement seeps in you will see some quality stuff come out of china. america will have to work for peanuts if they want to compete. china will move away from cheap exports and will focus on high quality manufacturing. america will become the next china it already is to some degree. american cars used to be considered some of the best in the world back in the day. Now i wouldnt buy american if you paid me. either german or japanese built if you want build quality and solid engineering. the american cars peaked late 70's early 80's.
