This question is for the Christian god since I don't know what other religions teach about god.

My question for god is this, why don't you just make yourself known to the whole world? Putting aside what the Christian bible says I just want to know why god just doesn't make himself known.

If it is sooo important for our salvation that we love and obey God and if God supposedly loves his children so much why not just give a shout out to the whole world and say, "Hey everyone, I luv ya, and everything in the bible is true so get on board with the program." Then after that hold everyone accountable for their actions.

It just seems ridiculous to me that a loving god would hold everyone accountable for not living their lives according to the Christian bible. Especially since the bible was written thousands of years ago and obviously has many flaws.

Imagine if you will fathering children, then leaving them to their own demise with only a book for instruction on how to live their lives, according to what you expect. Then coming back years later and saying, "hey why didn't you do everything that I commanded you in my book, I'm going to have to burn all of you up for this."

Unfortunately, I think this world is a huge test for us, and if God declared Himself, it would no longer be a test.

I think it is a test that most of us have failed.

But we have built-in failures, and those are not our fault.

So I think we started on an uneven field.

So true, if we were born with sin what chance did we really have?

How do you know God is love? Just because a book says it's so doesn't make it so.

That is a defeatist attitude.

We are here to advance ourselves spiritually.

God is Love.

We have free will.

I think everyone has the chance to prove themselves.

It is very difficult, but I think it is possible.

I think you have to show help and compassion to others, to animals and to the planet.

Let me get this straight, I have free will but if I choose wrong I end up suffering for an eternity in hellfire. If you have children would you give them that kind of choice?

I suppose religious teachings and books are subjectively meaningful.
Certainly that makes no sense to me either.
Your question is valid, but I leave it to religious types to answer, but dont expect a meaningful or satisfying answer.

He kept His word and came into the Creation as His own choice Creatures
and gave Himself placing His Name for the removing of the dead subject

and was glorified to be the firstborn of many brethren who
with His Source in the Heavens shall be a tree from this seed

His one shot He gave to many to have their shot who we are
gods of our Lord-God to His GOD to be raised-up Co-creators

He has given the standing (10 matters denied) for empowerment,
in it is His appointment (a day of our week for a day of His Week)

The Bible or any other book for that matter is nothing more than an opinion, based on someones perceptions and experiences. Written by a mere mortal.

If you live your life by others opinions and perceptions you have no purpose in being alive because you are wasting your life.

That being said, there is knowledge to be gained from others. And the Bible is an awesome glimpse into another time & culture, and there is lots of cool stories in there.

The Bible speaks in Microcosms, Macrocosms and Metaphors.

I don't try to question your faith, however it is yours. Doesn't do anyone else any good except for you.

I think people have more difficulty helping each other than helping animals and the planet.

What does that say about humankind?

It says we were programmed to be like this.

So, we have to overcome our programming - difficult.

A righteous path is narrow but holds greater rewards in the long run.

Any individuals faith in anything is powerful. What you place your faith in is worth meditating on, studying and practicing.

But surely, if you help animals and the planet but not humans, you have won 2 out of 3?

Or is it only helping humans that counts?
