I created a Google documents account with private access for ATS users:

Username: ATS@mailinator.com

Please u2u me or Casing to access the list and to have permanent access to it.The two files on there are meeting locations that you can edit and add your locations in case others from ATS in the area are willing to join in case of emergency and local Fire/Police/National Guard are not adequate, as a backup. Please just edit the file and be careful as others may use this document as a meeting location in your local county as a last resort. Please edit so anonymously, do not indicate who you are here on ATS when adding information to the file, keep it anonymous.

The idea is to use the county seat and/or a landmark. Do NOT, i repeat DO NOT use your personal home/area, or include any personal information. This is the location agreed upon by your local fellow ATS to meet as a last resort. I repeat, do not under any circumstance provide home information. Use the county seat/and or a major landmark.

Once again please u2u me or Casing for access, and pass the pw on to fellow Ats users whom are trustworthy

Great work anonymous members who have been adding themselves! In case of emergency you may have fellow members close to you and perhaps you can meet in case of dire emergency/natural disaster. Please do wait to post here if compelled to do so as the google documents shows the time of last edit and your post here shows a time to. We are trying to maintain absolute privacy for fellow members. When the list gets sufficiently long and you feel like posting please do so when no one member on the list can be readily identifiable.

This is a nice thought but I will not be disclosing my secret location/meeting place for all of Google/the world to see.

I would rather have a secret code to identify fellow survivalist by.

Like maybe raise your right arm and slap your pit 3 times. I don't know seems just as hookie as telling the world where a group of prepared people will be.

That is why im thinking that we would like the admins to distribute private ATS only passwords as the list gets longer. Refer to the original thread, as this idea is a shootoff of it.

Hey! I have tried searching the net for this, and I don't remember where I heard it from. But somebody said something about people moving to some place in Washington State called Bellingham... I think thats what it was. And there was something about it being able to protect people from some sort of a disaster. I heard land was being sold quickly because of this. I can't fully remember but it might have had something to do with some sort of inner rock being exposed or something. I wish I could remember it all. It also might have something to do with the magnetic feild, but that could just be me misremembering. But there was definitely something about the area of Bellingham in WA. Somebody here knows SOMETHING...

Ok I believe sufficient people have started to post. Do you fellow ATSers believe that this account should be closed to the outside world and only ATS users should have access to it only : Aye for one

I think we need the admins to take over this project and give out a personal password that only ATS users know in a u2u perhaps

I would prefer private also.

However I am wondering if this is something the admins would want/have time to take over... If they dont, what then?

If the sheet has been done anonimously, how would they know who to send a u2u to?

Yes i was considering that too, even IF they wanted to take it over, we could just have it the way it is now. The only thing I do not like so far is the fact that our locations are visible to the outside world and not ATS. Maybe one person could hold the file and we could set up an email account to send requests to add to that list, but the final list would only be sent as a u2u link....a bit more complex....maybe a mass u2u to everyone with the pw. The only question is how to fight out fakers how have joined the site to gain access to the list. But the list is public in the sense that these are public areas (county seat) to meet in the event all other avenues of help are exhausted.

My opinion is using the KISS method "Keep It Simple Stupid"

change the password and if anyone wants access to it now they send you a u2u. once the password is changed everyone puts in their names, or aliases, and then those who are part of the group know what assets there are.

Then have a requirement of a minimum amount of posts on the SURVIVAL thread. what after 5 posts you can usually tell who is a poser and who isnt.

Ok seems that people want this to be accessible to only ATS users and that if people want access to the list, they send me u2u for the pw add their information and update to their liking with the knowledge that the pw will only remain within the list users and no one else...?

Would you fellow ATS members be comfortable with me providing a password in u2u to the list OR to have it public as it currently stands. Me, casing and the original posters would have access to the initial requests and as trusts spreads more and more people gain access.

Vote yes to u2u or Nayy to u2u.

Ok after entering a discussion with Casing there has been talk at making the pw private, me and Casing will have the pw and the posters who have entered in the information can ask either of us for the updated password to access the list. You may update the list to your liking and pass on the pw to fellow ats members.

OK password has now been made private send a u2u to either me or Casing. If there are complaints about the pw being made private we can in the future always make it public again.
