Ever wonder why there is nothing really important in the new?

Well here's why.

A new study shows that the more graphic and intense war news is, the less likely that viewers - regardless of political beliefs - will remember the advertising that follows the news.

So is the lack of good information in the new the government keeping them quiet or is it the news corps trying to make a few more buck on our ignorance.

If it works with something disturbing like the war it would work with something really disturbing like the truth.

The news has been meanin less for a long time. It lest the public beleive that they are viewing something important, something thats "fair and balanced" but that far from the truth.

There is a really neat documentary here on the ATS video section called Stupidity that covers this topic really nicely. You guys should check it out.
