With all of the earthquake, volcano, weather change etc thread, I thought this was a fitting collab writing subject! Feel free to add your own thoughts!



Father time and mother earth
joined together now giving birth

her body wracked with intense pain
the water breaks and pours like rain

Twist and turn to find relief
discomfort is now beyond belief

Shake it off and take a breath
feels like a slow and torturous death

Waves of nausea through and through
can't control it then she spews

Nearer to the center of our galaxy . . our solar system did roam,
bringing changes to our planet, changes to our home.

Torrential rains, where once was dry, see it now . . use your eyes,
Cracking, breaking, moving earth, . . higher now comes the surf,
Where to go, where to run ? Will tomorrow bring the sun ?
I've only just begun . . .

I've only just begun . . . wait . . . I hear you . . . I hear you too !

So . . . . . . . what do we do, what do we do ?

I hope to not be here someday
when this world goes away
Is this the worst or will there be more?
will this earth shatter to the core?
Or is this the worst there is
are we finally to the finis?
Only time will really tell
whats in store for this hell

Our mother she is tired now she needs some time to rest
we poisoned and weakened her put her to the test

We live our lives from day to day its all we know how to do
but our mother needs a break now sometime to rest and renew

And so, one day Mother Earth decided.

These hopelessly dependent cling-ons . . . had to go.
Their destructive ways . . . had to go.

It seemed they were not able to live in harmony.
To love the land . . . to love the sea.

They consumed much, but produced less.
They polluted more . . and made a mess.

They unseated, depleted, . . . repeated.

Out of the ground rose a huge stairway, leading to the stars.
They began to leave, heading for Mars.
Leaving behind an injured planet . . they left without fears,
Leaving behind Mother, wallowing . . in her tears.

Mother Nature, Mother Earth,
Gave us living, gave us birth,
Yet we leave you now for something more,
You're hurting Mom and feeling sore . . . . . . .aren't you ?

May you heal and become beautiful again. . . without us.

Wonderful stuff!!! Very proper attributing earth to a mother giving birth. Very proper indeed I think.
