As many here have no doubt heard, our friend and Alien/UFO FSME has passed unexpectedly recently. Out of respect for his family, we ask that the details of his passing remain not the focus, rather that we recall with a passion that equal's jkrog's the topic he was very much a campaigner for.

Following is a short list of some of his many threads, documented in his meticulous fashion. We will miss his very in-depth presentation and his presence. Let's not let his passion and hard work go.

This is so sad. My condolences to his family and friends. He was a smart and friendly guy, and so much going for him. This saddens me deeply.

He was genuinely one of my favourite members on ATS and in the short time that I have been here I’ve so enjoyed reading what he has wrote and all he times I’ve spoken to him.

I'm so shocked and saddened to hear this news.

I miss my friend so much ... yet I am so grateful to have known him and thankful that I can visit him everyday through the thoughts he left behind here on ATS and the lasting impression is kind heart has made upon me.

This has been an utter shock to me. I was really good friends with Justin outside of ATS. We never met but we spoke almost daily. He was a very smart and sweet person with a big heart.. He helped me alot with many topics esp quantum physics. it was an inside joke between us and every time I do math like that now, I will think of him and smile because it was always pretty funny when he explained things to me. He called it Andrea speak lol
He was probably the most passionate person I had ever met or talked to when it came to the subject of UFOs and Aliens. I usually went to him when I had a question on the subject and he always had tons of information on it. I really enjoyed his threads too because IMO they were well researched and put together.
RIP dear friend you are missed and forever loved by many

It's not often I see a thread that truly captures my over exposed, somewhat jaded imagination and attention.

jkrog had a knack for doing it almost every time he authored one.

There was a certain quality to his research and presentation style that simply stood out.

One of the beautiful things about the internet and sites like ours is that jkrog's legacy, his brilliance and hard work, will live on forever in our little corner of cyberspace.

We will miss him and we will forever appreciate the contributions he made here at ATS.

A part of me knows he is in a place where the truth and knowledge he searched for is finally his.

how very sad, he was one of the best poster's in the alien and ufo board.


i will miss his work, this site just lost an important foundation block.


edited to add: Just noticed he was only 24, how very very sad he was so young, amazing to think about how so much wisdom came from someone on the beginning of they're journey.

i guess its true, the great ones always leave us early

Another tragic loss and I offer my condolences... at times like this I have to believe there is a purpose for his untimely passing, good luck in unchartered waters my friend, you are not alone.
