Come on, man. Who really gets swayed by these videos of blurry, out of focus lights videotaped from thousands of feet away?

The first night video looks like something burning, with burning bits falling off of it. It is attatched to something that floats or flies, probably a balloon. Why is that such an impossible explanation?

You responded to traditionaldrummer by saying the second video couldn't be a balloon, because it is "zipping." There's no reason to think that the first thing and second thing are the same. The second video could a helicopter, or an RC, or a balloon being blown in the wind. It is impossible to tell how fast it is actually going or how big it is because we don't know how far away it is from the camera. It might not be "zipping" faster than twenty mph or so, which is perfectly reasonable for something being blown in the wind.

It seems like there is nothing here that is inconsistant with conventional explanations.

Is it just me, or does it seem like the Mexicans are constantly - literally constantly - filming balloons and then posting them as UFO videos online?

Looked to me like a helicopter. I thought I saw a sillouette against the background lights around 2:35 into the film (when it was flying to the left) I tried to get a screen-grab and adjust the levels in PS but it didn't come out with anything

If it had been shot in HD and with Night Vision for the night shots, there might have been some material to work with in terms of an analysis to rule out balloons and remotely controlled toys.

Guess we'll have to agree to disagree on what this may or may not be...

Oh, it's only the ETs that pulsate these days? You say pulsating, I say flickering, like a flame. Or flashing, like lights on RC planes and conventional aircraft do all the time.

Flashing lights are not the calling card of aliens. Ever seen a small flame filmed from a distance? It often appears to flicker, especially when it is exposed to a breeze or otherwise turbulent air. Also, you know very well that aircraft lights blink.

This is not a detail that I missed, it's a detail that is perfectly consistant with a conventional explanation. If pulsating lights were the smoking gun, or were even difficult to explain as conventional phenomena, we would all have accepted the ET explanation long ago.

Let me just say that whatever that object is that's flying horizontally at night is not an aeroplane, heli, or lantern.
