in another thread a few of us threw out some predictions of who they would blame this particular event on.

i went with right wing extremists because thats what they called the guy who flew his plane into the irs building not to long ago. i think it was staged to discredit the tea party poeple.

just like this was staged to discredit 9/11 truth. they are so predictable im having a hard time finding humor in it anymore really...

it just goes to show the threat each "movement" poses. be it whatever movement.

I always assumed the 9/11 truth movement was a "left wing" conspiracy considering the implications...when did it switch to a right wing extremist movement?

Anyhow, OPs...yes, any big movement will have some idiots going nuts, be it a backlash of governmental intrusion, gun control, 9/11, black guys as POTUS, climate destablization, etc...I think the world is collectively a quantum computer and all paths towards a understanding is taken...to include denial, and the other extreme being insane actions...doesn't mean it effects the truth overall, nor should an entire movement on anything be seen as only the fringe radicals..

If this guy wasn't shooting someone for one conspiracy, then he would find a different reason to start shooting people, be it UFO coverup, Jewish infiltration, or simply shooting up some saudi arabian embassy if he was frustrated by that...crazy doesn't need encouragement, it simply needs a movement.

Truthers are what people call themselves when they calim to look for the truth about 9/11.

Faithers are what they actually are, because they have faith in their contradictory and nonsensical theories, even when they have no proof.

An example:

How did no one here the timed explosions necessary to demo two 100 story buildings?

Secret technology/UFOs


You see, the lack of evidence doesn't make them question what they believe, because what they believe isn't based on facts, but faith.

Not out of the loop, per se. It just isn't the same old loop anymore. There are factions that are not easily pressed into right or left with regard to political views anymore. In fact, there have always been political factions well outside the "mainstream" of popular political thought.

In so far as the creep who shot up those gaurds at the Pentagon - you could probably go down a politcal checklist and maybe have thrown him into either camp. For instance, and I am speculating, he had no personal problem with owning handguns so technically that would put him on the right, but he obviosuly distrusted the military so maybe that put him on the left, and then he believed in some big US gvovernment conspiracy with regard to 9/11 so that put him way, way, way, way out of the stream of conventional political discourse.

I think your relying too much on the fringe. The core movement is to have the questions resolved the report failed to do...not to speculate on a completely different theory...thats when things get silly.

I am a halfarsed truther...well, insofar as I would like to see a new investigation done that is transparent and have the simple physics questions answered. If things dont add up, then its time to start investigating other areas that would account for inconsistancies...not trying to make something fit into a illogical puzzle, but to rather start from the beginning and build up the case on facts...then step back and look at the picture.

I think the initian investigators were given a end point and told to find out how things went to this point...when you are investigating with a conclusion in mind to begin with, then of course the science is bound to be flawed.
