Well, more than likely it is what is called a rogue wave.

I cannot remember where I saw the presentation, maybe the Discovery Channel, but they are created by different weather systems causing their own waves in the seas or oceans. Than the waves combine to create monster waves.

I do not know why they called them tsunami like, I guess the author does not know about the phenomena of rogue waves.

Even the explanation the author gave for tsunami is quite off track.

I think as mentioned a rogue wave and they jump on the Tsunami aspect because it is 'current'.... either way though - not nice and sad for those involved.

Cant see anything major on RSOE other than a small quake in Greece....
