Everybody loves food, it keeps us alive, gives us energy and even makes us happy. I'm interested to know what foods ATS members will not eat. It can be a particular food item or a whole food group, anything really. I'll start. I will not eat pickles and if a pickle has touched anything on my plate I will not eat it. That nasty juice just soaks into everything. yuck

sprouts, swede, liver, sweet potato, salmon, tuna, cabbage, parsnips, pork pie, black pudding, kidney(I don't mind it's juices for gravy though) tripe, that's all I can think of just now but I don't eat a great variety so you get the idea!

Cucumbers!!!!!

Can't stand the taste oif them. I love the smell of them though.

And ketchup/catsup.

The devil's condiment that stuff is. Don't like the taste of your food, smear that junk all over it, you'll never notice the taste then.

I don't like ketchup either, or mayo for that matter.

The devil's condiment? LOLOLOLOL

Coming from Pittsburgh, I only eat Heinz and I put it on everything. My kid eats ketchup sandwhiches.

As for what I don't eat?

Pierogies. I like em. Just got sick on em once and now I have the bad association.

I love Spam.

Spam is just ham. Nothing else. It is just made out of the leg instead of the main body. And packed in geletin to preserve it. Nothing more, nothing less.

I take it, grind it with velveeta and green onions, and broil it on an english muffin. Yummy!

Sushi, fatty marble meat, animal organs, veal, caviar, most seafood (lobster, tuna, fillets, etc.), nasty products like hamburger/tuna/chicken helper, European sausages.

I can handle just about all fruits and veggies but am extremely picky when it comes to meat and processed food.

Oh that reminds me that I do avoid lobster. Because of the rumor that they feel pain being boiled. Don't know if it is true or not, but it stuck.

I don't eat Maryland blue crabs anymore, despite my love for them because of scarcity and overfishing.

And I don't eat veal on moral principle.

I totally agree with you on Sushi. I'm not a fan of meat either. Chicken and ham (thinly thinly sliced) is about all I can tolerate.

Yeah, same for me. I don't eat lobster or veal based on moral principles.

SD- Yeah, I could eat that. Never have but I would. Sausage is tricky. Especially once you've seen it made from scratch.

Edit: Oh wait. lol Take out the chocolate chips. I hate candy/chocolate. lol Then I would probably eat that.

Yeah, that reminds me. I hate sweets. Cake, ice cream, donuts, cookies, candy, chocolate, etc. Won't even have a slice of birthday cake at my own party.

Bring on the jalapenos, salt, pepper, onions, and chili power.

Down with sweets, up with hot and spicy.
