Dumb stuff like this? Way to go for an insult, because my opinion differs. Second, I don't live with my family so if they came and shot me the bullet would be out of their own pocket. I appreciate the sentiment our soldiers died for and I'm not disrespecting the fallen, but I am saying that in no way shape or form is this war called for or the actions shown in the video.

I find it amusing that every single one of these threads regarding this topic are always started by Rainfall. Its seems almost like an obscession in my opinion. I think I saw the same thing posted like a month ago it was a different video, but the same woman was speaking. This kind of reminds me of a broken record constantly repeating the same line.

If you call getting a degree and working a higher paying job as happiness and freedom then this discussion was over before it ever began. Right they're "isolated", but won't the they be able to get a job as a cop or some other kind of enforcement? Then won't they be able to live out those same actions out on the street? To me freedom is not someone telling you what's right and wrong, but being able to discern for yourself and act right.

But wasn't this video posted here like 3 or 4 weeks ago? I remember watching this same exact video only a short while ago, thats why I double checked the date of the OP. I thought this was gonna be a new video, but no it's the same one that's been around for many weeks now.

It is possible I saw it on another website. Although I don't really visit many other websites that would have this kind of content except for ATS.

I dunno...., either way it was an eye- opener the first time I watched it.

A lot of people were saying they couldn't watch more than the first puppy scene, so that may explain where they drew the line. I saw the puppy video by itself some years(?) ago, and after reading the comments above, I know I don't want to watch this video at all. (I haven't.)

So, fellow disgusted (non)viewers, what do we *do*? Forward the video to all our contacts? Submit it as evidence in a lawsuit? Tell all our friends to get out of the armed forces?

There are 130k Us troops in Iraq. Many more have rotated through. A small amount commit evil acts and all are punished. The scum bags who raped that little girl are in jail. The Military have zero tolerance for acts like this.

In Iraq dogs are considered the lowest form of life. Stray dogs cannot be cared for and have to be killed. Now if he was to shoot the puppy with a gun like you are supposed to what would people say? The above video shows what US troops are willingly to do. Nobody will post this. Spending what little money they have saving a dog. Don't forget the Medics and Corpsman who have saved hundreds of civilians with free medical treatment. Or the military airlifting a dying Afghani child for surgery he never would have had if we hadn't been there.

The US has done more good than any other military. All these ignorant people comming out of the wood work saying how evil we are are clueless.

We sent ships to help civilians during the tsuanmi 2004. We sent soldiers to help hati and nobody else could do what we did. We did helicopter missions nobody else could do. We opened the airport and air lifted supplies and people out of the country to our hospitals.

I was drafted in 1967...with no choice, I went. I did not fight in Viet Nam. I was attached to the Pacific Air Forces Commanding General, Lt. Gen Graham. The vile crap I heard and the cynical game Washington played made me sick. The corruption was rampant from an Airman to a Four Star General. No one was fighting for freedom. It was all about what was in it for them, and how many retirement points it would be worth. "Brownie Points"
I was discharged honorably. I still thought America was worth saving.

Then I went into the reserves...thinking it would be somehow better. HA. What a sick twisted joke. The whole thing is about making sure the Officers get their retirement packages after 20/25/30 years of accrued service time...the grunt is there to serve them and make them look good to their superiors. The Military is nothing but a sinister political machine that is basically the trained dog of Washington. They hold the chain, and tell it when to go "Sic `em"...for whatever reason.

From what I saw, I would not ever trust any reservist to uphold the constitution or the law of the land, even though they swear an oath to do so. They are sadly duped into thinking their are defending America, which is a giant lie. Finally I awakened, and saw the futility in it all, and said screw it.
17 years wasted for nothing. Four Honorable discharges I would just as soon wipe my rear end with.

As I was studying immagrants from the middle east coming to America this year, I learned that EIGHTY-FIVE percent of grown men over 25 have atleast some mild psycological disorder. This is not surprising with all the insane suicide bombers, terrorists, tyrannous leader, lies, and unbeleivable amounts of ruthless killing in places where there is no place to report it, and the defenseless victims of their own soldiers AND the American soldiers. I might not know everything there about the war in Iraq, but I know that these middle eastern men also include these U.S. soldiers because the same factors affect them.
