Hello all, very interesting find here.

Says here that the earthquake may have shortened our days. What do you guys think? Seems pretty legit to me. Makes you think...if an earthquake of this magnitude can shift the earths axis...imagine what a earthquake off the charts can do! One day, either near or far in the future, it's going to happen. And we have to be ready.

Wow if so thats amazing and scary. When the earthquake happened that morning, I did feel that the day was not right. It felt strange as if time was speeding up and then slowing down. Could this be the begining effects of 2012? I've heard so many times that time, and our technology while advance quickly! Thats just my two cents.

Could this be the begining effects of 2012?

No, the beginning effects of 2012 will happen on January 1, 2012...and will start with a tipsy/drunk feel...followed by a hangover the following morning.

and yes, the earth poles shifted about 3 inches...that was one heck of a bang. The days shrunk by 1.28 microseconds as a result...so now you have even less time before 2012

IT DID shift the axis three inches

thats not debatable its a scientific fact!

This was reported by me yesterday in another thread where people were blaming HAARP, as if HAARP could do that.

If I understood an article that I read this morning correctly, it's not every day that is shortened, but rather is was just that one day that the earthquake occurred. The reason is that when the quake happened, it would have given the Earth a sudden jolt that would have sped it up slightly. I may be wrong though.

But, to me it's really interesting that the Earth's axis has shifted three inches. That was some jolt! I wonder if that would do anything to the climate. I wonder if any and all star charts are amiss now. Like, stars and plants won't set at the right time now, or be in the positions that we've calculated them to be in at the right times!
