The Bible contains pornographic imagery. You can try to explain that away as "abominations to God" according to your belief, but the fact still stands.

In your defense...I thought you might appreciate the interpretation of those pornographic images and ideals you speak of in the bible (ignore the name of the website...the cartoons are pretty cut and dry) :

I don't think many people really understand the irony in the OP.

This is a fantastic idea. It would be wonderful if students were all as creative and resourceful in their projects.

I'm not personally an atheist but have been a bit of an objector when it comes to the horrors of organized religions, most specifically Christianity and all the irreparable harm it's done developmentally for the human race (which I find an utter hypocrisy considering what an awesome messenger of peace Christ really was).

Kudos to these students and their bravery.

Seriously, I would so hand out porn to people willing to trade in their Bibles.

I do believe that the lesson the atheists are trying to push here is that whether you are looking at porn or reading the Bible, you are not learning anything useful.

At least that is what I got from it.

I'm pretty sure you can learn various and positions and techniques from pornography.

People believe in god either because they're afraid, were raised to do so, or because they want to. And god is about as real as any other mythological being.
