Here is my score. Seems pretty accurate.

Conservative/Progressive score: 3
You are a social conservative. You believe in traditional values, and care first and foremost about your country, your family, and your religion. You dislike the agenda of the left because you see them as trying to destroy these things.

Capitalist Purist/Social Capitalist score: 2
You're a Capitalist Purist. You believe that the market should be completely free, and that the invisible hand of the market will make sure that the people get what they want and will do it in the most efficient way possible. You believe in small government, less taxes, and more privatization.

Libertarian/Authoritarian score: 2
You are libertarian. You think that the government is making way too many unnecessary laws that are taking away our innate rights. You believe that the government's job is primarily to protect people from harming other people, but after that they should mind their own business, and if we give the government too much power in controlling our lives, it can lead to fascism.

Pacifist/Militarist score: 10
You're a Militarist. You believe that since the United States has so much power in the world, it has a responsibility to keep the world safe. You think that if the US does not exert its power in the world, it may eventually lose its power, and that we can not look weak in the face of terrorists, and must take them out where they live.

Overall, you would most likely fit into the category of Libertarian

Here are my results....

Conservative/Progressive score: 12
You are a social progressive. You generally consider yourself a humanist first. You probably think that religion and patriotism go too far in society. You probably consider yourself to be a citizen of Earth first rather than a citizen of your country.

Capitalist Purist/Social Capitalist score: 12
You're a Social Capitalist, you think that, left to its own, Capitalism leaves a lot of people behind. You think that Health Care should be free to all, that the minimum wage should be raised, and that the government should provide jobs to all that are capable of having them. You likely hated the Bush tax cuts, and believe that the middle class has gotten poorer, and the rich have gotten richer over the past several years. The far extreme of social capitalism is socialism.

Libertarian/Authoritarian score: 0
You are libertarian. You think that the government is making way too many unnecessary laws that are taking away our innate rights. You believe that the government's job is primarily to protect people from harming other people, but after that they should mind their own business, and if we give the government too much power in controlling our lives, it can lead to fascism.

Pacifist/Militarist score: 0
You're a Pacifist. You are angered that the United States thinks it should dominate the world through its military force. You think that the only time war is necessary is when we are in direct danger of being attacked. You also believe the US spends way too much of its money on defense, as we can practically cut it in half and still easily defend ourselves, and use that money to fix all our economic problems.

Overall, you would most likely fit into the category of Hardcore Democrat.

Probably We are nearly polar opposites, except for the Libertarian part you scored a 2 and I scored a 0. Which question did you answer that made you less libertarian?

I think it was the one about withdrawing from Iraq which was kind of odd because we have already began to draw down troops. Maybe it was an old quiz.

1. Are our gun control laws too strict?
Not at all. I actually think they need to be stricter.
2. Should gay marriage be legalized?
YES YES A MILLION TIMES YES. They are people just like the rest of us. Why can two miserable straight people divorce but two happily gay people can't get married?
3. Should we consider invading Iran?
No. I'm done with this war. We shouldn't even have been here in the first place.
4. Should intelligent design be taught in public schools alongside evolution?
Sure. I think evolution is more important though.
5. Does the US need a system of universal health care?
YES. We're all human. None of us is better than the next so we all deserve the same health care. How is it that the greatest country in the world doesn't have the best health care?
6. Should marijuana be legalized?
I think it should be legalized for medical purposes only.
7. Should we repeal [or substantially change] the Patriot Act?
Change the USA PATRIOT Act. It has provided some information for the government regarding the War on Terror but then again it is a huge violation of our rights.
8. Does the US have a right to stop countries we do not trust from getting weapons?
I think it would depend on the circumstances but in most cases I'd say yes.
9. Should we end (or reduce the use of) the death penalty?
End. If you want summon to suffer for their crimes, killing them is an easy way out. They should be given prison for life.
10. Should there be a higher minimum wage?
YES. RIP TED KENNEDY
11. Does affirmative action do more harm than good?
I honestly don't know. It seems like a good idea in theory.
12. Is the United States spending too much money on defense?
Yep. They wouldn't have to if we weren't in a ridiculous war.
13. Should embryonic stem cell research be funded by the government?
A MILLION TIMES YES
14. Should flag burning be legal?
Hmmmm I don't know because I would never dream of doing that but it's symbolic for Americans to do that when they protest something they don't like (war, especially Vietnam).
15. Should all people (rich and poor) pay fewer taxes?
The poor should have lower taxes and the rich should have higher taxes. It's logistical.
16. Should the US begin withdrawing from Iraq?
Yes. Right now.
17. Is it sometimes justified to wiretap US citizens without a warrant?
Depending on the circumstances.
18. Should the government be involved in reducing the amount of violence/pornography in tv/movies/games/etc?
No. That's not their job.
19. Should the United States only start a war if there is an imminent threat of being attacked ourselves?
ONLY if there is an imminent threat.
20. Should stopping illegal immigration be one of our top priorities?
No.
21. Is outsourcing of American jobs justified if it allows for cheaper goods?
No. Americans need jobs in America. If people are paid, they could pay for the goods at a potentially higher price.
22. Are all abortions unethical? [with exception of risk to mother's health]
No, and men shouldn't be a part of saying whether or not it's ethical or unethical. It's us women's job. What if you're raped and get pregnant and because of anti-abortion laws you have to have this baby that you didn't want? It's insanity.
23. Should social security be privatized?
I'm indifferent.
24. Should the United Stated ever go to war even if the UN is against it?
Avoid war at all costs so yes if the UN is against it, turn around and find another solution.

Hahaha I'm all fired up now.

The following are your scores. They are based on a gradual range of 0 to 12. For instance, a Conservative/Progressive score of 3 and 0 will both yield a result of social conservative, yet 0 would be an extreme conservative and 3 a moderate conservative

Conservative/Progressive score: 8
You are a social moderate. You think the progressive movement is overall well meaning, but sometimes it goes too far. On issues like abortion and affirmative action, you see the negatives of both extremes on the issue. You probably value religion, but at the same time you think it should still stay separate from the government

Capitalist Purist/Social Capitalist score: 4
You are a Moderate Capitalist. You support an economy that is by and large a free market, but has public programs to help people who can't help themselves or need a little help. Pretty much you believe in the American economy how it currently is.

This is not a very well thought out test, I have no idea where it gets the idea I am religious or favor social spending programs.

Capitalist Purist/Social Capitalist score: 9
You're a Social Capitalist, you think that, left to its own, Capitalism leaves a lot of people behind. You think that Health Care should be free to all, that the minimum wage should be raised, and that the government should provide jobs to all that are capable of having them. Pacifist/Militarist score: 8
You're a Moderate. You think that in very rare occasions, the United States should invade a country in order to make the world better by spreading democracy or ending a tyrants rule. You also think that defense is very important, and we shouldn't lower the defense budget. You think that, while the Iraq War probably was a mistake, that we can make the world a better place by sticking with it and spreading democracy in the middle east.

Overall, you would most likely fit into the category of Democrat.

Yeah, I started here as a Republican Conservative, I'd guess I'm more liberal now, I have alot of republican sides in me and also liberal, I guess.... I'm a person.

I'm for Obamas Healthcare plan..... but I'm against him being black an all.

Lmao I'm just kidding!

I'd say I'm pretty close to be right smackdown in the middle now, the extreme left is freakin crazy, and the extreme right is freakin crazy!

Since I've been on ATS I just go and voter for the lesser of two evils..... which is a struggle to find out which one is less evil!

And disinteresting when you friend votes for somebody, just because (the sole fact) that he was the last person he saw on a commercial.

Which makes me especially 'for' having a test before you can vote, not to keep black from voting, to keep rednecks, uneducated people from voting, I'd rather have educated people who know politics and are interested in it voting, not the people (like my friend ugh) who vote because it was the last person he saw on a commercial.... he voted for obama by the way.

Maybe you should do both That is why I have already started working on a Ed.D(Doctor of Education) in Political Science, I only have 5 more years until I'm done. I will be entering politics soon. If the democrats don't like me because I'm too radical I will just be an independent. I am a staunch civil libertarian and mixed economy person, I believe strongly in grassroots democracy and hate corporate campaign funding. So like I said in about 5 years or so you might see me on the tv attacking politicians and corporations. I was already at a Tea Party even here in Jacksonville, FL last year, I avoided the economic part, I stuck strictly to civil liberties and I made everyone applaud. I love to piss people in power off

I guess I'm what you would call the 'radical-left'. I don't think I'm a radical leftie though, I recognize that Progressives are too conservative for me, but I am also a civil libertarian so I guess that helps

I only support a Public Option, this current plan is just to make corporations more cash by mandating us to pay them. Sounds like a pretty good corporate plan to me.
