Just because things are not going the way you want politically does NOT mean "the people of this country have no voice." I've lived in places
where there was no democratic republic (the US is a republic, not a democracy) -- if you'd lived in some of those countries, you'd see the
difference.
Yes, we have a voice. If a huge group goes to the polls and votes for something while others are too apathetic to go, then the voice of
the
majority of voters is heard. In a country where only 30% of the population ever goes to vote, your political opinion may not be favored.
If you think your political opinion represents the majority of the true feelings of the country, go vote, and urge your friends and family to vote.
Otherwise the country will be ruled by the opinions of those who care enough to go register and vote.
