Obama signs one-year extension of Patriot Act

It's a sad day for America when some legislation that goes directly against the principles upon which this country was founded gets extended once again.

It's almost 9 years since 9/11 folks, this was only supposed to be in place a few years, not a permanent thing.

Well I guess it's not permanent yet but the way they keep extending it, it seems that way.
