I see you're from England....bloody good day chap...

I'm sure elections are the same there as here...
The 'polls' are fixed..
The election is fixed..
The power elite put into office anyone they want..

Voting someone into office is an illusion.

Well Cameron is on the slide but we could still have a hung Parliament. The problem is how are we going to get out of this mess.

I want Harriet H to loose however. She was great in the NCCL (showing my age now) but has turned out to be a complete idiot.

Well these are the two main parties in the country so you would expect them to be highly supported. YouGov is rated quite highly as a poller.

I think it is such an unpredictable election race, that people will change their mine before election day. The Tories are clearly worried by these polls. I think people are starting to remember/realise who they represent.

I know i will not/never vote for them...

Err I thought I was a diehard labour voter but the last ten years has seen labour do terrible things. I have spoken with UKIP and just find them another set of nutters. I don't know who I will vote for but Vince Cable makes a lot of sense but Simon Hughes is a berk.

I can't stand the pendulum politics.

I know what you mean.
But no matter who we vote for, we get the same old stuff.
It's just, look at the thing's Labour has had to deal with, whilst in power.
It's probably been one of the tougthest period's, and they've seen us out of recession.
By Instituting CHANGE right now would see their economic recovery plan hamperd just as we've finally got our head's above the water.
Brown promise's more Job's, whilst Camoron want's more Cut's in the public sector. Yes, cut's are inevitable, but Camoron's policy's would dissrupt the UK to much. The slogan for Camoron's Conservertive's is ''CHANGE'' jumping on USA's Obama bandwagon.
The Coservertive's even want to bring back Fox hunting.

I know we all hate whoever's in charge, but at least with Brown we get someone who work's hard and know's what working life's about.
Id rather make my vote count toward's Labour instead of an independant party, just so that Camoron dosent get voted in.

I dont think id even vote for Plaid Cymru, which a lot of Welsh people do, only for the reason that their now nicknamed 'Plaid Camaron' due to similarity's in policy's.

Doesn't matter who wins

Gordon (one eyed Scottish idiot) Brown has been selling state assets for a while now...

www.guardian.co.uk...

www.timesonline.co.uk...

what will the conservative party have left to sell?

That's all they know to do...and there will be nothing left

The problem is that the different parties have narrowed their differences oveer the years. The new labour rebranding exercise put paid to old labour.

Old labour was pro the working man. The tories were for the rich and the working people who looked up to them (but had no real money). Now all parties are for the rich.

Wait until we see Dave suppin a pint in your local.. Ghastly I know.

I would vote for Vince cable if I was in his constituency but Isuppose I will grumble and vote labour on the day. Then I can spend the next 4 years grumbling until the next chance...

Some of your comments do seem bigoted old chum. The problem that Britian has is that many Africans are from ex -British Colonies where by Britiain made a tidy sum under various trade deals. Why do you think there was a sugarbeet drive in agriculture in the 70s for example?

We cannot fix our country if we adopt a little england mentality. BTW The TV programme was funny

Dohh

I owe ya a pint. I meant little britain.

And to tell ya the truth i am not happy about any kind of fundie religion.

We Brits are simply going to have to stand up to whichever party that is in office and deal with it. One of the saddest things is that we don't seem to have any debate. I had a fascinating discussion with a chap from the Freedom association. Hated his politics but we actually had a debate. If you go into most pubs you have to yell to make yourself heard
