the White House Has issues an Executive Order that amends a previous Executive Order (12425) that originally denied allowing Interpol special priviledges within the United States.

The New York Times published an article about this E.O. issues by Obama entitled: Order on Interpol Work Inside U.S. Irks Conservatives that blasts the provisions granted to Interpol via this new E.O....:

WASHINGTON — Conservative bloggers and opinion outlets in recent days have expressed mounting alarm about an executive order by President Obama that extended certain privileges and immunities to the International Criminal Police Organization, better known as Interpol.

Bloggers have accused Mr. Obama of ceding American sovereignty, painting a portrait of an international police force operating on United States soil without legal restraints. They have also argued that the order is part of a plot to allow international courts to arrest and prosecute American officials for war crimes.

That theme is making its way from the blogosphere to more mainstream news outlets.

In a Web post for the conservative National Review last week, the commentator Andrew C. McCarthy declared that an “international police force” could now operate inside the United States “unrestrained by the U.S. Constitution and American law.” He also suggested that the order created in the Justice Department “a repository for stashing government files” beyond the reach of Congress and the public.

And an editorial in The Washington Examiner this week declared that “this new directive from Obama may be the most destructive blow ever struck against American constitutional civil liberties.”

Yes, and the reason being that the FBI, CIA, Homeland security and the entire law enforcement and judicial system in America are now so hopelessly corrupt at every level.

It is now impossible to bring any real international criminals to justice in America. America has become even more protective of outrageous criminal activity than even Israel.

By giving Interpol sweeping powers of search, seizure, and arrest, they can act independently of the web of bribery, graft and corruption that exists in America.

It will be interesting to see how the American public reacts to the coming high profile criminal prosecutions that will be taking place.

Will Americans howl in protest, that no American could ever be guilty of anything, and DEMAND immediate pardons and amnesty.
After all any arrest of a criminal is a loss of personal rights, and Americans will not stand for that.

It should prove to be very interesting...............

Well it looks as if the intent is for the Bank of International Settlements to take the place of the Federal Reserve instead of The IMF/World Bank.

Wow it's like a total crap shoot right now.

BIS or IMF/World Bank or Constitution?

I think the US is up for grabs right now.

Executive Order -- Amending Executive Order 12425

EXECUTIVE ORDER

AMENDING EXECUTIVE ORDER 12425 DESIGNATING INTERPOL
AS A PUBLIC INTERNATIONAL ORGANIZATION ENTITLED TO
ENJOY CERTAIN PRIVILEGES, EXEMPTIONS, AND IMMUNITIES

By the authority vested in me as President by the Constitution and the laws of the United States of America, including section 1 of the International Organizations Immunities Act (22 U.S.C. 288), and in order to extend the appropriate privileges, exemptions, and immunities to the International Criminal Police Organization (INTERPOL), it is hereby ordered that Executive Order 12425 of June 16, 1983, as amended, is further amended by deleting from the first sentence the words "except those provided by Section 2(c), Section 3, Section 4, Section 5, and Section 6 of that Act" and the semicolon that immediately precedes them.

Not up for grabs, but America desperately needs to be hosed out and disinfected.

Getting rid of the Fed will be a very important first step.

Throwing a lot of very high profile people into prison will follow.
The crimes they will be charged with will SHOCK America.

That's only if it goes IMF or BIS.

If it goes contitutional then its no game.

Why are these old stories coming up again NOW? This is the second one I've seen this morning. Your article is dated December of last year and you put it in "Breaking News"?

This has been discussed here:

ATS THREAD

I find it a bit conspiratorial that these "new" anti-Obama threads are popping up on ATS NOW, when they've already been discussed to death when they really WERE breaking news.

And as I said on the other thread Interpol is an investigative agency , they do not have any power of arrest or search and seizure. They investigate and pass info along to the appropriate LE agencies.
