lo well obliviously the drop tanks ,,,, but it looks like a 3rd engine on top of the other 2 slightly bigger than the other 2

I could post a picture of my Gran on here and I'd get 30 or so posts about how it is "clearly" photoshopped and a "fake.

I've double checked and can't find any examples of a 3 engined jet fighter. There are a few commercial aircraft with 3 engines, but I have yet to see a fighter with that number.

Optical illusion caused by the lack of "turkey feathers" on the F-15 which makes the nozzle look somewhat different to most other aircraft.

The engine cowlings are much bigger than the nozzle itself (when closed), and due to the perspective it looks as if the right cowling is a separate engine.
