Chile Earthquake - WTF is that!!!!

Folks, watch this video of the recent, absolutely amazing (yet terrible) earthquake in UFO capital Santiago, Chile.

Look at the video at 00:15. Something flies in near the gate (I can only see the shadow), holds its position, and then flies out again. WTF.

Please. Someone else clarify what I'm seeing this footage. The camera shake is already beyond belief. WTF is that thing that zips in and out? Never seen anything like it before. This footage could be banned!!!

Looked like a bird flew in and quickly landed on the top of the gate, then the tremors rousted it from his perch.

I suspect the video is running x0.5-x1.0 speed too, as everything is just a little too fast. Especially the bird.

From what I could tell, it may have been a bird. I thought I saw it fly off of the top of the gate.

Maybe someone can post a screen capture for us.

That flying thing is definitely a bird or bat if bats land upright that is
But if you look closely you see its wings before it lands and you see its wings when its flying away

Just wanted to point that out =D

Very keen eyes my friend, very keen eyes, however I think it's simply a bird looking for a safe place to land during the hectic quake.

Thanks for the report.

You're right! Increased frame rate gave it that edge. But that's obviously why the camera shake is like an air-strike out of Modern Warfare.

Yes definitely a bird, looked black with a fairly long tail, very clearly swoops in, lands on gate and then flies off frightened.

Good eye to spot it OP but just a high speed bird as noted by many others..
