5.3 just recorded on USGS.

Given the lack of immediate aftershocks on the Japan quake, and it pretty much following the biggun in Chile, could this be a remote trigger.

Could we not explore the possiblty that we could see some more ping pong remote trigger quakes bouncing around the Pacific??

Just putting it out there?

Comments

P Wave theory? I dont know enough about it. Or are we all getting quake paranioa, like buting insurance just after a flood!!

Yeah yeah, we know abou the Telsa and the Haarp thingies. so no need to be short!

Am just interested to know peoples opinions on whether this could be the start of a tit for tat quake shakedown around the pacific.

As it really is very active at the moment.

It seems as though all these quakes are just experiments to see how their machines work...We can expect to see more activity as their testing continues

You know it's funny

The Book the Science of fear claims that fear and regocnition of events is higher immediatly after an event when it is least likely to happen. i.e. people buy flood insurance after a flood, when it is least likely to happen! insurance industry fact. but this being the case and we know this, then we can all relax as it won't happen again!

Unless the earthquake god has a copy of Art of War, in whichcase, watch out!!!!

I think that's taken the paranoia level toa sufficient high! ...Soo i guess we can let this thread die quietly!

I don't feel like there are more earthquakes, but the severity in earthquakes so far in this young fiscal year is what makes me wonder if it is more than just a "coincidence."
