My guess is that unless Obama, Reid, and Pelosi change their approach that the democrats will loose control of the House and Senate. This will be especially true if they pass that pile of crap Healthcare "reform" bill through reconcilliation.

I agree. Unless they turn further to the left like they were elected to, they will see their demize. I agree that this senate health care bill is a load of sh*t. We can only have a public option, it is the only way to save us.

That projection for the Senate looks about right to me and I do expect the Democrats to retain a narrow majority in that chamber. I do expect deeper losses in the House and while I also expect the Democrats to retain there as well, I wouldn't be utterly shocked to see the GOP emerge with a 5-10 seat majority.

Yeah, I heard that! What's that I heard?? some 89% of Americans do not want the Bill, do not want part of the Bill, don't want any of the Bill. NO! And still Obama is going to try and pass it, to leave a legacy, I suppose, I mean, what else does he have, save for the Peace Prize, and I still don't see the logic in that move. I think if, Obama can hold off the Birthers movement, and keep that pesky birth certificate hidden away, he will still be a one term president. I think it will be Ron Paul, Sarah Palin, Hillary Clinton, and perhaps Mitt Romney. I think the Tea Party will become a political party to contend with, and also the Independents. I think we will soon see an end to the Electoral Collage, and a full popular vote will come in. Just my predictions.

If we all got together maybe we could elect 1/3 of the Senate and have them be our guys. Anyone for a conspiracy?
needed
1 website
1 or more designers
1 paypal acct for contributions
1 mailing address for contributions
some honest money-men to work for free
people to hit websites for free or paid for space
33 people to run for the Senate - they will be vetted!
Thousands of people to spread the word in each state.

How can you tell a politician is lying?
His (or her) lips are moving!!

my guess is that no matter what ends up happening, we'll have a wave of people posting here saying "see? This is just proof that we're all puppets and it was engineered to happen this way"

Why the hell would anyone want to run for senate? No matter who gets in, they immediately are seen as "part of the system" anyhow.

People elect other people for someone to blame, not for someone to help lead. The whole disgruntled with washington thing is simple bulls$#@, the concept of sellout politicians is also bulls^%$...the people are simply retarded and thats the facts. Ya, everyone in congress sucks except the person you elected from your district...or your party...the rest...total sellout liars.

We the moronic people have no clue what we want beyond free candy from God-verment and put our political hacks in a difficult position. Hey, goto washington, eliminate taxes and at the same time get some epic scale pork for our town...good luck.

Our government is morons leading morons over a cliff with the promise of golden parachutes.

sidenote...quite enjoying the health care summit...pity government doesnt always work this way...a small room, a small group.
