Ok so a few of us members from the UK region are thinking about and hoping to tryand organize a sort of meet up, simply to discuss the topics we already discuss everyday on ATS but instead in person.

We really think it has the potential to be such a fun event where we can get to know some of the more vocal ATS‘ers a little bit better and of course have some real fun all at the same time.

So seriously if anyone is interested then this is the thread where we will be discussing it so please do comment and we’ll sort out the when’s and where’s hopefully as time progresses.

Thanks.

What We have decided so far...

Location where we will meet: Rail Station
Forgate Street
Worcester
Worcestershire
WR1 1DB

Count me in, although I live halfway up the Cairngorms, and don't cross the border very often.....if I can get there, I will!

Actually, it might be a good idea to have the meet in Scotland anyway...maybe somewhere in the Falkirk triangle? Just a thought.....

Would be so cool if you could make it, and it would be so so so much fun!!

So far we have

  • Rising Against (me obv.)
  • Haydn_17
  • thecrow001

So the more the merrier.

Also we're thinking of going somewhere like worcester or nottingham so far which is sadly far away from you but nothing's decided yet so anythings possible.

Did anyone have an idea of time yet? I know I will be Cornwall for a few days in May, but apart from that, I have no plans....I'm at college full time, and work, so getting away is difficult during term time.

It would be great to meet people though...I hope this actually comes together!

Ah that's so sweet....bless you, but I'm one of the crumblies too...I'm 44, so that allegedly makes me a mature student.
Summer would be good tho, depending on location or course.

So far i'm not so sure on when it could happen, although i'm very strapped for cash at the moment so IMO any time after April ould be just great for me.

But Whenever suits everyone else really because i'm sure i could get enough to go away for maybe a full weekend for example somewhere still.

It's definitely something we need to plan/discuss alot more.

No babe, I don't sing!
In fact, I try to avoid the other students on my course, cos I'm just about the youngest, as they are all women in their 40's and 50's....they NEVER stop blethering, and it drives me mental. I can't stand being in class with them actually, and because I look much younger than I am, they tend to treat me like their kid sister, or their daughter...it's really annnoying. I promise...no songs.

Maybe we should invite people from overseas too...it's not such a long trek from Europe really, and maybe some of them could make it?

Well, off the top of my head, we have Hellmutt in Denmark, Orange-light in Germany, and JustMike in Prague....I don't know if they would be interested in travelling tho. It would be just wonderful if they would. I'm sure there are many more.
