It's amazing really.

The last few months Glen Beck has been RAILING against Progressives on both his radio and tv show.

To my unbelievable surprise....many ATSer's are now using the term "Progressives" when it was mostly scant before (IMAGINE THAT!! WHAT ARE THE ODDS!!!). Many of you repeat every single idea and comment he spews...as if he is controlling your own opinion....because well...

HE IS.

Ask Glen Beck if he support deficit spending on the war. Ask Glen Beck if he supports our country going bankrupt because of it....which in the end will leave us EXTREMELY vulnerable. Ask him why he doesn't scream of Corporate influence flooding our government. Ask him why he doesn't scream against our horrible trade policies that encourage outsourcing.

Ask him why he EMBOLDENS Reagan...a man who spent more money than ALL PRESIDENTS BEFORE HIM COMBINED...the same thing he now RIPS Obama for....and as for as much as I hate this war...at least Obama has the EXCUSE of one.

3 TRILLION DOLLARS....which was increased from 700 billion...UNDER REAGAN. In fact...both Republican Presidents since Reagan has relished in wars, deficit spending, and corporate welfare...often making themselves money in the process of doing so. They've destroyed our trade policies as well encouraging outsourcing...even when they REDUCED TAXES...which should have created MASSIVE WEALTH FOR ALL!!!! JOBS FOR EVERYONE!!!! Isn't that how neo-conservatism works? Where's my jobs yo. Taxes are far lower than they were then so where are my jobs?!?!?!

So by Beck's "vague" term of Progressive....overspending...one world government...government control...etc. etc.....well he supports and adores one of the best at doing so.

Therefore...Glen Beck and Ronald Reagan are Progressives...by his OWN definition.

If he can call anyone a Progressive....so can I. I can mold that word into anything I like...just as he does. The only difference is...I don't have a television show for you all of you to soak up and repeat.

It still amazes me to this day that such a large percent of the population has been brainwashed so deeply by partisan programming, to the point that they've developed a problem with progress.


I was there myself and bought into it..just as many ATSers are...and all over the country for that matter. They deny it. Somehow Fox News is "alternate media" and the rest is the MSM. If Fox news is getting the best ratings...aren't they the new MSM?

I've always thought all television media as mainstream. After all, they are all corporate owned. Glen Beck often refers to the movie "Network" and the line..."I'm mad as hell, and i'm not going to take it anymore!!" He fails to tell however that this man was saying this because he was being forced to report a certain way or be fired.....

Glen Beck cannot be where he is without corporate backing. He's a fraud calling out other frauds that he finds convenient to further his message.

Right. This is what Fox News is all about though. Mr Murdoch ADORED Ronald Reagan. Everyone on Fox News adores Reagan. All NEO-Conservatives love him.

Glen Beck....well he must be a Neo-Conservative Progressive! All of them! They only support world government through the influence of corporations!!!

Right! Freedom for the billionares to keep every penny while they suffer paycheck to paycheck..barely making ends meet with prices exploding, deficits mounting, freedoms disappearing, life generally harder to live.

Luckily, they will still have the warm, fuzzy feeling inside of Beck talking through their television screens to make it all seem worthwhile.

Let the billionares keep their money...who cares if the whole economy crashes because of it!!

Well in America life is all about choices, if you choses not to get health insurance I can't help. But at least when they are dying of cancer they will not have to see the death panel and not get care.

If someone is sick they should get a job (or maybe a part time job) to get insurance That is what it means to be free!

I am happy that nobody is forcing me to have health insurance. Like I said, one less worry, if I get sick at least nobody will deny me care!

I don't know what rock you have been living under for the past decade. If people actually could get a job now-a-days the job is probably very low paying. Then the prices of everything is so out the roof you are lucky to have a home, just so these fat-cats can make huge profit. Then add to that insurance prices are way beyond what they should be, they are taking people for a ride with this crap. A 39% hike in California, how do they justify this when inflation was around 0%? If you can answer any of these questions honeslty and sticking to your guns than you are either, 1. ignorant, 2. selfish, 3. Combine numbers 1 and 2., or 4. brainwashed.

Hell...can't even get Dr. Kevorkian to end your life nicely. It's illegal. You need to suffer like the leeches you are! Who cares if the rich are capitalizing off of your labor and have more money than they know what to do with!

I believe so as well. I think people paralyzed from the neck down should stop being lazy and get off their asses and get a job! The rich shouldn't have to pay for their crippled asses!!!

Well the reason California is so expensive is because the state had a gold rush in 1849

there is also an ocean nearby which means they have to paint the buildings more often.

Whats the problem with charging people more?

they have a choice - take it or leave it.
