I'm not surprised either...
Wait... yes I am. I'm surprised he's not being accused of setting kittens on fire at midnight while he does the Naked Satan Dance in the Oval Office.

Those dang Muslim, Nazi, Socialist, Communists love the Naked Satan Dance.

So, when someone finally comes up with something obama could be nailed on, the way we can tell it IS serious is when his supporters begin posting mindless and nonsensical deflection attempts, such as the one quoted above.

As a trained vet I'm sorry to inform you that you have rabies. A series of 7 shots will be required to save your life, but only radical shock therapy will get over you hatred of the black man in the white house and your creepy crush on the lightweight in the boob tube with simpleton notes written on her hand.

As a "trained ATS member", I'm also sorry to inform you that personal insults don't cut it. Instead, they are seen as proof that you have nothing to add to the discussion - as I posted before.

Back to the thread, IF obama is guilty of doing these things mentioned in the OP, it DOES fit the definition of high crimes and misdemeanors. In other words, impeachable offenses. Notice I said IF. Why can't we discuss this and try to determine wjether the "if" is reality rather than attacking other posters - a la Shakespeares, "me thinks thou doest protest too much"?

I've seen a few stories on this in the local news and NONE of them even mentions the fact that what Obama is trying to do is against the law.

The MSM might cover the story, but they'll never mention that the President is breaking the law. I didn't even realize it until I read this article.

Everyone wants to hump Obama...
Did you ever see the list of crimes commited by the Bush Family on mainstreeam media...FOX for example...NO

Yes, and everyone wanted to do the same to Bush when he was in office - and many still do.

What part of either or both Bush and obama committing crimes makes it right and OK?

Please explain that for all of us.

There should be far more to your reasoning than just "the other guy did it".

Well, I addressed the statutes being mentioned and gave my interpretation of why I think, at least those statutes in particular, don't apply to what the Obama administration is allegedly being accused of, back here on page 3.

I'm still waiting for someone else to discuss whether these statutes even apply or not, since they are basically the only facts we can analyze at this point.

It is the Chicago Way. If you can't bribe or buy them out of your way, you scandal them out.

He learned from the best....all the Chicago mayors and the city council.

And let us not forget some of our more infamous Govenors. I think Illinois has the most governors sentenced to prison of all the states.

He and Rahm Emmanuel cut their political teeth here and have become experts at it. Just because they are on a bigger and more visible political stage doesn't mean they are going to give up what they know works.

Best anyone can do is to keep exposing it.

Even if Obama is behind this, is he not above the law, being President and all? ... As President, his job should be to act in the best interest of the country. By keeping democrats he can trust in power, it will allow the government to do its 'job' better. So he is in a way acting in the best interest in the nation. If you guys want to say that a President shouldnt be able to decide who's in power through bribes because it is illegal, than at the same times others can argue he shouldnt be in power because he is supoprting a war right now and killing people is illegal. Just saying... He IS the law.

this is essentially correct, the people of america have consented to give him power over everyone, he can do whatever he wants because he is the president of the corporation of the USA, you are all employees of this corporation, as proven by ur Birthcertificate/drivers licence/SSN etc., YOU people consented to this so take responsibility and follow the rules of your ruler,

and no you do not have constitutional rights, you consented to get rid of them so please people dont play that card!!!

Sorry I've been gone for the party people. Seems a lot of you have a problem with what I said... on the first page.

I stand by what I said. You guys elected him. He IS the ultimate ruler. He might as well be king, tyrant, or emperor. Whatever you want to call him. He alone holds the 1/3rd of the federal power and seeing as States are letting him intrude on their matters, who is to say he is not King.

By bribing people and keeping the other 2 institutions Democrat and filled with his supporters, how does he not hold ultimate power? They won't do anything about him.

It isn't what is supposed to happen in a Republic, but that's what has happened. Hitler was also supposed to lead a 1000 year Empire. This isn't the perfect world. Politics become corrupt.

I'm sorry if I've angered you. The truth hurts sometimes, and I see and understand your views, but my arguments do hold water.

Also to flame me as ignorant and uneducated is hillarious.
Are you not being hypocrtical by calling me ignorant as you people are in fact the ignorant ones for not even trying to understand my points.

Thank you. Stay classy.

You see, that's what happens when you walk away from ATS for a while.

You need to be like the rest of us. We never sleep, we rarely eat, our whole lives are devoted to posting our absurd thoughts on this site. Some of us haven't bathed in days!

WEE HEE HAA HAA HAH!

Seroiusly though, thanks for the clarification.

Well a bribe sounds harsh..but at this point desperate options must be done. Everyone at the senate knows what the future plan is. The ones who needs 2 get bribed are the ones afraid. Its time for the senate to accept the happening.
