I hate these threads because they are loaded. The only thing the OP wants to do in a thread like this is call upon all the military haters and bashers to post how evil the US Military is.

Operation New Dawn is just as it states. We are leaving and the Iraqi people will have to fend for themselves. Sadly, I think they will revert right back to the way they were before we ever stepped into the picture. It is just the way they are; they are a country made up of tribes and one tribe will always have beef with another tribe. They have lived that way for thousands of years before us. The US way is not the way for everyone and the sooner we realize that, the better off we will be and we can stop being the world's police force and continue being the U$A.

I have said it before and hold true to my statement. Most of America's military are honest to goodness hard working men and women eking out a career in our little speck of existence in the vast universe. Granted there are some bad eggs that give the rest a bad name but that happens everywhere and in every clime and place.

So, in closing, Operation New Dawn is exactly as it says; the Iraqi people stepping up and taking charge of their own country. We have taken care of them for to long. We have fed them, clothed them, housed them, given them jobs and afforded them an opportunity to make a better life for them and their family. Now here come the flamers to allege we are occupying then illegally and how we are there to kill civilians and whatever other nonsense you care to spout; I advise you to get out from behind your keyboard and do something else with your life that has some meaning. Your conspiracy truths will not be found on the internet.

If Obama was in his right mind he would call it "Operation Old Tape" or "Operation We Never Learn" or "Operation S.O.S" (for same old sh%t). Idiot's never learn from past mistakes. I'm starting to believe that there really is a hidden agenda. All of the evidence points towards conspiracy.
