Not to deflect my own thread....but this deserves some clarification.

Would help when people go and study the definitions of "theory", versus "hypothesis" (I put those in reverse order, on purpose).

When you research, you will understand why.

This is very serious, I live in Austin, right across from UT. I can see the issue at hand with what people here believe.

I heard that a poll was done, asking what is the nearest Star, and like 23% answered things like Alpha Centari and other Stars, but yet failed to mention the SUN!

Also for a religion-evolution issue, I found out about the first prediction that set an acurate record for Solar eclipses, was in 585 B.C. and the continue to sell the fact that during the 1500's the earth was flat. yet the Piri Ries Map existed with Long/Lat???

How about the hardest one to digest is that Chris Columbus, discovered America!!!!

A place on earth that has history for 100,000 years of human occupancy before this goof showed up, well in the carribean that is!
