Former VP Cheney hospitalized with chest pains

WASHINGTON (AFP) – Former US vice president Dick Cheney, who has a long history of heart problems, was hospitalized Monday after experiencing chest pains, his office said.

The controversial Republican figure was "resting comfortably" at George Washington University Hospital in the US capital and his doctors were evaluating the situation, his office said in a statement.

Cheney, who has had four heart attacks and had a pacemaker installed in his chest in 2001, was scheduled to meet with former president George W. Bush and other staffers from the Bush administration in Washington on Friday for the first time since they left office last January.

Glad to see he's doing much better. Even if you're a cheney hater, it's good to wish good will on people.

I don't wish ill will on other people, but Cheney is an evil troll, so I have no problem hoping for the worst as far as he's concerned. Maybe God is telling these fear and hate mongerers something. First Rush "Oxycontin" Limbaugh was briefly hospitalized with his phantom chest pains a few months ago, now Dick "Deadeye" Cheney. Hopefully Glenn Beck or Hannity is next.

Weird, I remember reading it, but both CNN and Yahoo has taken it off.

Cheney is PURE EVIL.

Hell his nickname is "Darth Vader" (No joke look it up).

He wanted to have American ships disguised as Iranians, and have them attack American interests in the Middle East to kill Millions of Iranians as a declaration of war.

He is not a nice person at all.

He is PURE EVIL.

Let's hope his condition is beyond medical help.

I personally would like to wish Mr Cheney a fast and full recovery, that way he can die in prison where he belongs for his crimes against humanity and the American People that he failed to serve.

Seems I've been outnumbered on wishing Dick well. But I can't deny that he is probably one of the most dangerous VP's of our time.

Chest Pain with what he has had done/ Happen to his heart, is not a good thing, not an awful lot they can do after a lot of damage has been done to the heart muscle, apart from Transplant, or a massive CABG

Lot of Politicians seem to be having a lot of heart problems recently, wonder why?

Probably the fast food, Seems when a politician is on the road a lot or traveling around the world. They seem to enjoy a good ol' fashioned home style burger at MC, Donald's.
