Well, it is looking more and more like a job done by the Mossad. However, they are not going to come out and fess up to the operation. It would defeat
the purpose of it being covert. Now, is state sanctioned assassination intolerable and inhumane? That is in the eye of the beholder. However, I would
like to think that these extreme measures are a last ditch effort to stem the bleeding caused by a particular terrorist or leader of a violent nation.
In any event, the aforementioned statement is not entirely how it works in some cases, and can be perceived as a knee-jerk reaction.
Now, the man who was assassinated is turning out to be an unsavory person in their own right? It is alleged that he advocated the destruction of
another nation, has been implicated in attacks on civilians, and may be behind some of the rocket attacks on Israel? I just hope this assassination is
not used as a marketing ploy by Hamas to turn this man into a martyr for their self imposed just cause?
Clearly, from what I have read concerning this man's checkered past, he is a sinister and vile murderer. He should not be praised but ridiculed for
the crimes he has committed against civilians in Israel by the Palestinian people. The Palestinian's are never going to get anywhere supporting
terrorism and advocating the destruction of a country that will be its neighbor in the event they receive a country of their own.
When they can show these leaders the door, the sooner statehood will reach fruition. They are being used as cannon-fodder for a few power thirsty
individuals in both the Fatah and Hamas leadership for their own personal agenda, rather than the agenda of the people as a whole. This leadership
likes to walk around like they are the martyrs and fighting a just war?
When in all reality, by attacking Israeli civilians, they are no different than Hitler, Stalin, or Mao. To put it simply, just a bunch of exploitative
power hungry thugs. Then, they are bold enough to skirt complicity in the violence they themselves' have brought to the Palestinian people by their
own culture of hate and lies when Israel responds in retaliation after one of their terrorist attacks.
I disagree with the means of how he was removed, however, who am I to say? It is all a matter of perception, some would consider it a necessary evil,
while other will detest it. I just don't want Hamas using his assassination as means to make a martyr out of him and to shore up their power even
further. The man killed in this assassination, was a monster and the world is a better place without him.
