Do we have the names of everyone who was involved in these cases? Who were the defense lawyers? Who were the judges involved? Were any of these clowns
from Pat Robertson's Law school?
Who were the officials that signed to close the case?
Who was "the guy they blamed" who "killed himself"? Could we have an update on the background of exactly what happened? How likely is it that he
committed suicide?
Defense lawyers? Ivins was never charged until he'd already killed himself. The FBI was getting set to arrest him and had even promised his own son
a brand new tricked-out Mustang if the kid would testify againt his dad. Hell, no wonder the guy lost his marbles in the end and killed himself.
There's plenty out there on the Anthrax case, and use Google to get what you need on the torture memos case. This thread assumes that you already
have done the work required to know these very high profile cases.
By the way, this is one of the assertions that the FBI made about why they fingered Ivins in this case. Has all the fingerprints of the classic Bush
era storytime evidence narrative. All speculation sold as fact.
By the way, to weaponize Anthrax, to the degree that this stuff was weaponized, Ivins would have needed access to rare and extremely restricted
environment-centric technology (highly sophisticated engineered environment chambers) - which he didn't have access to - and he would've needed
about three years uninterrupted control over those chambers. Then, he would've needed access to static-centric anti-caking technology - to ensure
that the Anthrax would resist clumping after being ground to 1-5 micron size particles (without destroying the spores, which requires technology that
only the US and Great Britain possess). This is how sophisticated the weaponized Anthrax that was used in the attacks was. Bruce Ivins only had
access the the "wet spores", since he was in the business of trying to find a vaccine for Anthrax.
The FBI never even bothered to address the issue of access to the technology that Ivins would have needed to weaponize the stuff. They never bothered
to explain how he would have had weaponized Anthrax sitting around to use as a follow-up to the 9/11 Attacks (remember, it takes years to weaponize
this stuff to the degree that this stuff was engineered). He never had access to weaponized Anthrax, and they just say "he got ahold of it" when
pressed about the difficulty and equipment he would have needed (as well as the expertise needed) to perform highly classified weaponizing techniques
that very few even know.
He was a bit eccentric before the FBI went after him (once the first guy's "slam dunk" case went sour) but he wasn't nuts. The FBI ripped his
family apart, amnd the guy unhinged, but that was well after the attacks occurred.
