Well MSNBC just read a few bits of the "Manifesto".

What was with the one "expert" on MSNBC saying we don't need to tighten airport security, because this same thing could be done to a building with a car or a bus or a truck
and he's talking with no explosives involved...

Yea , sure try and take your Ford Taurus and crash it into a 7 story building, and see if you get this type of damage

Where do they find these morons??

Does he not realize a plane(even a small one) filled with jet fuel is basically a missile? That's a little different than a car or truck or bus. Without being rigged with explosives is barely gonna get through the lobby.

*still waiting for this building to fall into a neat pile of dust*

Go steal a 80,000lb 18-wheeler truck and drive it into a building at 80mph. I guarantee it's going to cause some serious damage, don't be so naive.

Now Imagine that same truck hauling 20,000lbs of Diesel, Propane, Natural Gas, etc.

Am I alone when I say that this is a good thing?

If this is what it takes to wake people up, alert them to his manifesto, and perhaps encourage other people to raise their voices and be heard, I think he made a successful impact.

Is this what it takes for people to finally listen?
How many times have these "crackpots" been given this much news time? How many people do you think were going to read his manifesto if this didn't happen?

The man is a genius. I don't see it as an attempt to kill innocent people, but merely an attempt at attention. That attention has been received and it will be delivered. People will wake up because of this. This will be the beginning of things to come, believe me.

From what I read of it, he wants more destruction and chaos.
Saying that IRS deserves it.

Great. Now people will get the wrong idea.

Maybe it was a BAD idea to read it on national news.
I swear sometimes the MSM shows things just to start riots.

(maybe this will be adding gas to the already burning fire.)

I don't know if he is a genius, but it was pretty obvious that sooner or later someone would snap. I think this is a wake up call for the establishment, since most of the public already knows the government is in hot water.

Joseph Stack? Can you provide a link to confirm that? Anyone else know who the guy's name is?

I heard the press conference where they named Joseph Andrew Stack and there is a rant by a guy with that name atwww.businessinsider.com... I checked the FAA online database and no one with that name has a pilot's license.

He is the product of a society that transformed him into a low life human and/or terrorist.

Yes its good for Americans to wake up, but not with violence.

With brains. Violence doesn't solve anything.
It just hurts alot of people.
And its a LAST resort.

By now, everyone knows who Austin Texas crash pilot Joe Stack is.

But his manifesto hosted on EmbeddedArt.com holds clues to how angry he must have been. Diving into the HTML source of the website shows that he generated his manifesto using Microsoft Word.

And Microsoft Word loves to leave in the details. Let's take a look:

Looking at the above screenshot, you can see he revised the document 27 times. Additionally, he started the document two days ago on February 16th at 7:24 PM. He saved his final draft this morning at 6:42 in the morning..

Go to link to see the screen shot.

link no longer working. You didn't happen to get a screen shot by any chance?

What we will loose from this event:

The internet.

CNN just threw out the idea of "don't we have something to find this sort of thing"

More internet restrictions to come...

To everyone who may be a "Truther" or a "Tea-partyer"

I would be very scared of this event. I hate to sound like Alex Jones but this almost seems to coincidental to me that this guy was one of the two type of people i stated above. The media is going to and is already jumping all over this like cats after a mouse. Let the demonetization of the "right wing movement" begin is what they are saying to themselves. I for one am not a "Tea partyer" per say but i do agree with alot of there ideas.Seems to coincidental that this man happen to burn his house down 25 minutes before he took off and crashed the plane into the building. We are living in a scary world and it just seems to be getting worse.
Now we will be seeing for the next month of hating on the right wing folks and im sure this will help them reinstate the patriot act. Its alittle weird that our "friend" Glen beck has been warning about this garbage for the past month now and it just happened...crazy...

First- It has yet to be proven that this man tried to kill his wife and daughter in the house fire.
The media with their wording has led us to believe that but this is not a FACT. It may end up being fact but at this time it is not, it is just what the media is insinuating because for some reason they believe they have the right to do that.
20 minutes ago our all knowing media was reporting "OFFICIAL: Texas crash doesnt appear crime or terror" based on an anonymous quote.

I am not excusing this man of his actions, just the facts ma'am.

Second- Any way you look at this, no matter what side of the aisle you fall on, if you are an American this is complete BULL$#@*!!! We will have more of our rights stripped, we will have more talking mouth pieces further dividing our country and we will have more of our tax dollars being used to supposedly prop up a Constitution that at this point is literally non existent in this corporation, oops I mean country.
Yes I believe a stand must be made, yes I believe we are slaves to the corporations and big business government, no I dont think we are free at all but unless we as an entire unified people can make that stand we are doomed.
We have been divided and divided we will fall. Tonight flip back and forth between Fox, CNN, MSNBC etc. and watch how this horrible incident is skewered to fit either side to further divide, to cause more hate towards the left or the right, to add more fuel to this god forsaken fire. Divide and conquer, this is war people and that is the ultimate war move and it has been in play for a very long time.

Yes Please! Can we get the OP to edit his post and put that we already have the note!

I have put a disclaimer in the OP noting that the "manifesto" has already been posted. Now, if it continues to get posted....well, I'll leave that to the MODS to sort out.

Maybe tptb want a new round of laws, extra powers etc against this sort of thing...more databases and security checkpoints I expect they want.
When things like this happen,TPTB get an opportunity to create new acts/laws.

Just another depressed guy who is a casualty to the Capitalism.

Can anyone blame him? I sure can't. I can think of better ways at getting back at the IRS, then flying my own personal private jet into the local IRS office, but then again I was always a pacifist.

Most of you will say "OMG TEH ILLUMINATI FALSE FLAGGED, NOW THEY'RE GOING TO TAX US MORE," but that's not the case here. This was one lone guy who let the demons of our system get the best of him. He quit the game. I'm surprised there aren't more people who choose to go out like this, but I suppose not all of us own a private jet.

Look, this is just an unfortunate incident, and you can blame what you want. Blame the guy. Yeah he carried out the act. Blame the drugs. Yeah he was on anti-depressants. But one thing nobody blames is the societal system we live in. I've seen first-hand the horrors our Capitalist system is capable of. It can ruin a perfect life in a matter of hours, through stock markets, screw ups at work, expected societal norms that are not followed for a moment, loans and other various ways. When will we admit, that humans have yet to figure out a system that fits everybody? I'm not advocating Communism, and I am not a Socialist. But this life I'm living in this society is not sitting well withe me, and I'm even succeeding at an IT company! Think about that, I'm doing fine, and I still hate it. Taxes are necessary so our government can provide services for us. Our government has grown so big, it's nearly impossible to keep track of where that money is going. And due to recent events, I doubt it's going towards what we need it to go towards. Everything needs to be reworked. Our society types are failures.

Yes, as a student pilot, this has me concerned. What kind of bureacratic crap will they sling on the GA community now. They've been trying to force the GA community to pay "fees" (i.e. TAXES) to fly. Wrong, wrong, wrong.

The "fees" did not make into the budget this year. So, will the feds use this incident to get their way?

I see tighter restrictions on general aviation as a result of this.

hmmm, kinda interesting that they have no record of anyone with that name having a pilots license. I wonder how common it is for someone to own a plane and not have a license.
