Nahhh... don't abolish them. Just ignore them lock-stock-and-barrel. We need to get everyone to simply vote against EVERY incumbent without exception from local races up to federal. And we need to only support 3rd party and truly independent candidates. Render Republican and Democrat affiliation a political liability.

"Caribou Barbie"... lmao, i love this. Haven't heard this before, but then I'm new to the expose on palin. When McCain picked this bwitch as his wingman, it became abundantly clear to me that the puppet masters were giving us no choice... and i wrote palin off as a complete joke. So here we are over a year later and she is still in the lime light... with a best selling book, 100K for a magazine cover, a gig on Faux News and now she stabs the tea party in the back... my whole assessment of her role in this play was way underestimated, i really think they are grooming her as the next female version of shrub. Once they do a through job of running this play (Chicago Tribune 1934), oldie but goodie, from the GOP play book... she'll be in prime condition to take the seat after Obama has had his 2 terms.

As for the purpose of speaking at the tea party conference, she is in some way still on the campaign trail.

The Tea Party is not a party? I wonder why they call it a "Party".

In any case, you better tell the
Registered Florida Tea Party that they aren't a political party before they enter any elections.

A Florida conservative has registered an official "Tea Party" with the office of the Secretary of State, and is promising to run candidates against Republicans and Democrats in state and national races.

When prodded to pick a party, the choice will be obvious.

Unless they live in Florida or any of the other states that will register the Tea Party between now and the election.

Oh, and Tea Party Tops GOP on Three-Way Generic Ballot

In a three-way Generic Ballot test, the latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds Democrats attracting 36% of the vote. The Tea Party candidate picks up 23%, and Republicans finish third at 18%. Another 22% are undecided.

I'm not saying they will be a viable political party... I'm just saying...
