If your ear sare sensitive, it could be a TV (due i heard a high tone hum when a tv on)
Or maybe your ears having problem ?

Yes I have heard it & I wish that was all I have heard. In NZ 2-3years ago there were complaints about this as well as a ticking noise in the regional newspaper. A scientist from Massey University was visiting these people to try & record it without success. I tried to txt him but I received a reply as (..) So I went to the university & had a meeting with him as I had recordings of other types of phenomena which he was interested in. I told him I was building a faraday cage to rule out my suspicion that it was harassment. He laughed & said you need (AAMSE) or anechoic chamber, but he wouldn't elaborate. My point is even when these professionals think they know what is happening they don't say anything for fear of losing their positions within the scientific community. This guy started out with good intentions but soon became vague & disinterested with the publics complaints. These partcular complaints were in the North Shore of auckland although I have heard it in waitakere/kumeu in auckland. Believe me the hum develops further.

Wow, I heard of something similar the thread was about the "earth groaning" it had a video and it was really loud I wasn't sure if it was fake or not but I think you have a similar case. Jets are really noisy when they are low they woke me up numbers of times but in your case I'm not so sure.. I'm baffled.

Ok, 9/7/2011 at 9:41 PM CST.. it is official, all the members in my house can hear it now. My daughter just ran around the house opening doors and looking around. Then she said, "I don't get it.. it sounds like there is a helicopter outside.. or maybe the washing machine out of balance".


Everyone who has come by today and yesterday has complained of it. We turned off the A/C.. no change. Turned off all the fans.. no change..

Cannot find the source of the sound, but I have been hearing it for years and now everyone else is hearing it too.

I thought it would be appropriate to post something today because in my mind what we are experiencing is a form of terrorism in a form different than what happened to all the poor people who died and the many that were traumatized on 9/11/01. May we have true freedom, peace and happiness in our future.

The hum and its related pulses and vibrations are caused by electromagnetic radio waves (microwaves) that are being emitted from mobile phone masts, street lights and satellites in the sky.

It is deliberate electronic harassment being tested on individuals and small communities by various government and military related groups.

Environmental Health officers from local councils never find the source of the problem - that's part of the plan. They want you to think you're going crazy. Don't waste your time contacting them. It only puts a flag against your name for further and more intense harassment from the microwave abuse.

If you feel invisible pressure or vibrations on any specific body parts, try deflecting the microwave beam(s) with the use of a mirror. White/pink/brown noise can help cover up the humming noise. I know it's difficult but try to ignore the noise and physical sensations - reacting negatively is what they want you to do.

Have you ever heard of Charlotte King? She is an unusual psychic who can predict earthquakes www.viser.net... She has honed her skills over the years whereas she can tell when and where a natural event may happen (anywhere in the world) according to the location of discomfort in her body. Maybe you are psychic sensitive also (as I feel more and more people in the world are becoming). After reading your original 17-2-2010 post I wondered if there were any major catastrophic events around that time - and, yes, the 8-8-2010 earthquake was on 27-2-2010. When I lived in Hialeah, Florida in the '70s I had a most unusual emotional outbreak, with wailing and crying out to God to help - which lasted around 5-10 minutes and then I was okay. The next day I heard on the news there was a catastrophic earthquake in Managua which killed thousands of people. I also found out that Managua is a sister city of Hialeah, Florida, hence the emotional (pyschic) connection. Why don't you keep a log of when the hum is particularly loud and then you can look back and see if the hum might be related to various earth changes about to erupt. By the way, my husband and I both hear the hum. And sometimes it lasts for months and then goes away. But sooner or later it comes back. I did not have this when I lived in Northern California - it's only since living here in Arizona that we've heard it.

Thanks for your post. Most informative... I don't think I'm much like Charlotte King. Thank God. I don't know if what I sense is the same thing she senses. The other day a whale beached itself in one of our area beaches and around the same time the Canary Islands Volcano started erupting according to something I read online. During this time I didn't sense the HUM really getting strong as it did on 2/17/10. Yes, at times it seems louder or stronger but not by a great deal and it doesn't last long. During those times it seemed like it was coming from the east mostly and sometimes the south.

I need to clarify... I shouldn't have said that I thank God for not being like Charlotte King. I guess I was thinking of all her health problems and the fact that she had to leave her husband and kids because of her "gift". It's hard to believe that this ability can't be controlled or turned off so as not to drive someone into insanity or to lose one's job, family and health. What happened to her is sad, to say the least. May God help her through her journey.

I feel I should ask my fellow hum-hearers a question... Do any of you sense the HUM coming from the same direction I have been sensing it lately? I'm in South Florida and lately it frequently feels like the HUM is coming from the South to Southwest of my location. Just wish I knew what it means. Also, is it related in any way to today's strong earthquake in Peru? It is 8:37 pm EST and it feels like it is getting stronger but not continuous. It's fluctuating a lot. Maybe I'm just hearing something that is not the HUM. Who knows...
It is raining maybe that magnifies it somehow. Any thoughts?

The HUM here in CT is just like many report. Inside the house you can't tell where it (hum and vibration) is coming from, although in corners of certain rooms it seems to be slightly higher intensity, but that could be associated with some noisy gas turbine flutter causing barometric pressure fluctuations about a quater mile away. But in the absence of that, the hum gets worse on each higher floor level in our 2-3 wood framed home structures. In a basement of a large office building the pitchis lower and the ear and body sensations far worse than teh hum noise in the home. It is demonstratable using acoustic testing tools. Our pool water is hardly ever still anymore, always has varying levels of random surface vibrations or standing wave like after an earthquake (all on film). This HUM is real!!! and it's external
