People think for example that if I am Brazilian, I am living with snakes in the middle of the amazon forest.
But I living in São Paulo, A huge, modern and very polluted city .

Why do you assume your going to get a slice of whatever pie is lurking beneath the crust?
Why wouldn't he? This is oil we're talking about here. If the USA dont get something out of it, they'll throw their toys out of the pram... revealing a .44 Magnum.
Whatever happens, the oil will be sold for US$ mind, thus helping to prop up the international value of that failing currency, so he's right either way. The Tories will sell the remaining trenches of rights to US owned corps tho & make deals for rigs, supply & engineering from the USA. You'd think we didn't have the capability ourselves, wouldn't you?
Oh sh!t, that's right. We did have, but the Tories closed it all down. Nevermind. Our good friends & allies are always willing to step in & and help... them-bloody-selves!

Are you saying the US would threaten the Uk over oil that the British have discovered on an island colonised by the British?
Not publicly no. But between the threat of force & economic coercion, they would turn enough nations against us to make it unprofitable to proceed without US "help". Just look at what they've done recently for f#'s sake! Dragging us along with them too.
Aha! Get this for conspiracy! What if Falklands oil to ourselves was the price for UK cooperation in the Coalition of the Might-As-Well-Have-Not-Bothered-Its-For-Spin?

Does this woman really believe that because of our commitments in Iraq and Afghanistan we wont have time or resources to defend the Falklands.

Argentinas economically buggered again just like in ´82, and everyone knows what Argentina does in an effort to gain popularity....yes,,they invade the Falkland Islands.

They could´nt do it in 1982 and they think they can do it now???
