I am sorry if any of you feel you were misled by anything in this post that I wrote. I tried to make it perfectly clear that the source was sketchy and that we believed it was probably nothing and were therefore willing to take the heat for erring on the side of caution - remember that?

I stated that a "loose" pattern was forming, it actually "looked" suspicious to me when I saw it all laid out, or else I wouldn't have commented on it at all. Writing a "cute" Op about the Girl scouts getting edged out by Wal-mart and this are two entirely different matters and the decision to say anything on this matter was not taken lightly.

Has anything occurred - No. Could anything still happen - of course. We didn't wish that anything would happen and we doubted that anything would and were pretty darn sure that shining a light on it would assure nothing occurred, all of which would make us look like we were crying wolf - There was really no way to win here.

For those of you who raised your awareness and lent an eye and ear to the area in question - I thank you - you got it. Your increased vigilance helps keep us all safe. To those who accepted everything at face value - because I said it - please learn to think for yourselves - Don't believe anything someone tells you as the Gospel truth. Don't just read the headline, get into the meat of it. To the de-bunkers - you are wasting valuable time and effort - check out a post, decide if it has anything you can use and if not move on - nothing to see here - remember that?

And before you all think I am running home with my tail between my legs because one of our membership has threatened me with the Department of Homeland Security for Exercising my 1st amendment right - Bring it on Buddy!

I - personally - will be keeping an eye on the situation and doing my part to ensure that the venue of the 2010 winter Olympics remains a "Hard" target. We could all avert a good bit of the nonsense that TPTB intends to hurl our way if "WE" just start to keep our eyes open to the world around us and stop depending on "THEM" to do it for us.

This is our world, and this is our watch. Let us not turn over this awesome responsibility to the very people that may be doing this to us for their own personal gain - But that my friends is another "conspiracy" altogether.

I just read on "Cruise Critic", that there does not seem to be a clear cut reason for Norweigan cancelling the "floating hotel" plan. This was a "Make a Wish" trip for 11 sick children. Now, they are scrambling for rooms for these children. No one from the cruise line is answering phones or emails.
