The old man is definitely an old man. C'mon, his hair under the hat was salt n peppered, he tucked in his shirt to his kind of high shorts, he has socks up to the middle of his shin, and he has a fanny pack. You can tell by his body build at the waist and at the cankle/leg area that that is very likely a 60-some year old body also! The voice too... that is pure raspy old man voice!

For me this video boils down to one thing, don't put your hands on someone if they didn't ask you to lol. That's it, that's all.

I don't understand why the old dude isn't pressing charges though? It is clearly documented he was struck/attacked by the other dude first, and only then reacted to defend himself from the threat. Charge the dude for assault, and charge the girl with petty theft... and then thank the girl for being dumb enough to steal a bag on her own camera then post it on the interwebz lol.

By no means am I condoning the younger man's actions. This video wasn't very long and we miss out on some interaction prior to the recording. The old man sure got off the bus in a hurry, so quick he left his bag behind.

I found this a pretty interesting thread from the initial video to the responses. These types of situations are interesting and whilst violence isn't the way forward in my opinion I think everyone involved learned some important lessons that day.

I once had a similar situation like that where someone was yelling at me standing over me on a train because I refused to give them some money. He poked me in the forehead with his finger but I didn't do anything and eventually he just shuffled off shouting. Gave me a lot to think about in terms of how it turned out and how it could have turned out.

I rarely watch videos like this because I leaves me with a bitter taste in my mouth that grown men think that acting like this will gain them kudos, respect and a sense of personal power when really all it does is show them up as flotsam easily controlled by the whims and words of others.

Pathetic words and actions from these two wing nuts fed the show and so did the “audience” and is a symptom of what is very wrong with this so called human civilisation.

They were both idiots for thinking that it is cool to act like trash in a public place. I am of the mindset that violence is a very last resort and is something to fall back on when there is a real danger to health and life but these pair of fools took it upon themselves to pander to their respective male egos and let their environment take control of their actions because they felt insulted somehow?

I could not pick up on the whole conversation because the accents are difficult for me to understand but what I did manage to pick out was that these men are far too used to letting their rectums do the talking for them hence the escalation from words to blood leakage – nuff said really.
