Hezbollah warns Israel over future war

ca.news.yahoo.com

BEIRUT (Reuters) - Lebanon's Hezbollah leader Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah said on Tuesday the Shi'ite guerrilla group would hit Israel's Ben Gurion airport if the Jewish state struck Beirut's international airport in any future war.

"If you hit Rafik al-Hariri international airport in Beirut, we will hit Ben-Gurion airport in Tel Aviv," Nasrallah said via a live video-link.

Big talk for a small group of disorganized bandits... Of course they are mouthing a tic for tac situation, it's basically just that... Mouth.

Their ability to attack and successfully bring down an airport of that magnitude is equal to Luxembourg breaking down LAX... IMO.

I understand they have, were provided, a newer line of rockets but nothing with the accuracy of the Israeli army... I can only imagine after 1 rocket attack was executed from a launch point within Lebanon that the whole area, and .5 of a km within, would be nothing less than a 10ft deep crater.

I'm not taking sides here, for both "armies" are known for their dis-concern for civilian life.... but at least Israeli would just attack their tarmac.. not the actual airport gates.

A disorganized group of bandits? They seem pretty organized to me, afterall they did run Israel out of Lebannon a few years ago.

An airport isn't too hard to take down. Primary target is to disable the runways to cut off all traffic, which any decent sized artillery shell (120mm or more) can do. Then if they're lucky, they'll also take out air traffic control towers and fuel depots.

Israel cant win a ground war in lebanon. They can't. They suck. They haven't achieved anything, or any goal, and that's the only reason they are good at stopping their enemies from achieving their goals. They can't achieve their own.

They failed in lebanon last time, so they took it out on civillians in gaza in a ground assault. A ground assault in lebanon is something they can not win.

Taking out their airports is a stratigic tactic which will make them fight on the ground. They wont win on the ground in lebanon. ?They will be ripped out of their tanks and stabbed to death?

That's stratigy talk, not just tit for tat talking. Nassrallah is the only man in the entire middle east who has ever gone on tv and announced that an israeli ship was hit with a missle. Here's a link for further research on the topic of pre-emptivity.

I can almost hear him now, AND NOW< WE WILL TAKE OUT ISRAELS" COWARDLY ABILITY TO FIGHT UNFAIR. With no airports they cant take off, and will be forced to fight us on land.

Quote from you....??/Their ability to attack and successfully bring down an airport of that magnitude is equal to Luxembourg breaking down LAX... IMO.???

This is all pretty simple, why don't you understand?

anyway, I hope there is another announcement soon.

One more thing.....

you said disorganized bandits...

It's disorganized Hanit

Here's the link

en.wikipedia.org...

Quote from link above

As a result of the incident, two navy officers, two junior officers and the commander of the ship have been formally reprimanded and repositioned to non-commanding positions on land. One of the junior officers had shut down the central radar and parts of the defence system without notifying the commander, in the belief that the ship was not under threat.[8]

Be nice if the Zionists could make up their mind and keep their stories straight.

One minute they are a deadly scourge that warrants invading a sovereign nation, the use of expensive munitions, the bombing of women and children...

Then the next minute they are just a group of misfits and petty hoodlums that couldn't tie their shoe laces straight.

The Israeli Internet Defense Force really belongs on the Comedy Network!

The disorganized group of bandits that held Israel for 20 years and managed to drive Israel out of their country in 2006.

Israel might want to stop targeting civilian infrastructure though, just on general prinsiple. You can't tear apart water treatment plants, airpots, and schools, and hten cry about your civilians getting hit with rockets.
