It looks like the Secret Society forum is coming up on the 2nd anniversary of the "Shards" controversy. I believe it started in April or May of 2008.

Since "Remnants" died out, I wanted to do a retrospective and look back at some of the Illuminati concepts Maban pointed out, and see how (or if) any of his statements about the coming years have become obvious.

I ruthlessly stole his avatar (LOL) but as a tribute to him because I found him fascinating and insightful.

Since the whole controversy died down I dove into researching as much as I could about mysteries and esoterica, trying to find links to what Maban said, or implied, and what other sources claimed.

One striking example I found last year in the Fall Web-Bot report (which is playing out quite accurately in my mind, especially in regard to natural disasters, economic crisis, the Tea Party stigmatization, etc.) was the claim that was supposedly going to be made this year that a group of "citizens" (about 15% of the population) had different or superior DNA, and that it would be used for political purpose to usurp the message of groups like the Tea Partiers, etc.

Maban never quite said this but he did say that the Illuminons had different DNA and that they had conquered modern medical issues through gene, and stem cell, therapy.

On of the oldest things he said (Fall 08 maybe?) was about trillions of dollars of transfer of money between nations that would be hidden and not obvious. Of course at that time the word "Trillion" was not in common use, but today it seems to be ubiquitous.

If anyone wants to join in and has anything specific they want to explore from Maban or from the Shard thread (or other places) that we can look back on, jump on in!

I know we have a lot of new members that have no idea what I am talking about, but a good background is to search the thread "Shards of the Illuminati" in this forum.

It reads like a novel and gets quite interesting at times. My only suggestion would be to reserve judgment until you see all sides that were presented.

PS Pay particular attention to what Maban says about corporations in the early days of the forum. Interesting how corporations have survived this Econ-alypse relatively unscathed.

I've had to get a "normal" job and have become a slave to money once again. =( So my free time is limited and precious.

The shards thread captured my imagination.


It captured mine. I had nightmares, strange beings and visions in my head. Zombies.

In fact I'd buy the book or go to see the movie.


The next Dan Brown book, it's all there in it. I swear!

How much is reality? It's hard to say.

I will, still to this day, say that there was some very strange circumstances that occurred that I can't quickly brush off as a coincidence.

Sadly ATS mods scared off such a talented writer and story teller, it's a shame and I'm still bothered by it. It's partially why I'm not as active as I was.


I doubt it was the mods when it really comes down to it. There was a conspiracy. Notorious death squad. Haiti.

One question I'd like to ask is there any recent developments on one the key focus points of the Shards thread, the Lumen Ab Verum?


That thing's causing all this.

The whole concept is pretty intriguing because of the possibilities this object has so many other ties to history.


Unbelievable ties, no doubt at all.

Yep he had a LOT of amazing stories. The thread is still there and it got very interesting toward the end where we all revealed our private U2Us.
