How do we KNOW that Russia is not also 'in' (with for instance the USA/Allies) on an anticipated and planned for war on Iran? Just because they are currently cashing in (Kah-Ching!$$) could we not also deduce that they may be playing a certain role, whereby they not only gain some useful cash, but also lull Iran into a false sense of security to place their ultimate 'bet'?

I was just thinking of that great film 'The Sting', and how those being played were reeled in by their misguided perception that one of the two parties they were working with was more trustworthy than another...then again, taken at face value, Russias recent sabre rattling, testing borders, the arctic, plus Hilary Clinton's recent rhetoric do imply at face value there may be problems, who knows eh? Anybody here really know?

Russia - Two Headed Eagle - when now rising and newborn can be your best friend and worst enemy. Russians in political stage are always attacking with two sword, its up to them - witch will be the direction in future.

Dipolomatics done by Kreml after 911 has been very clever - theyre activities can see friendly or hostile, depent on point of view - you are not the one who can say where those decissions will lead. Only they can.

Russia wants to stay on its own and mainly together with SCO - independent, and like we have seen in deal of S-300, they have stay now 5 years right in the middle of crucial decission, without clear sign of their status in progress overall.

In sunday Iran threaten Russia to stay behind their cooperation. I think all knows, like Israel just get slam to their face - Russia tries to keep their neutral stance in this tense situation, and I understand why - Because of the balance with Chinas decissions.

Without many spying krisis in recent years with Russia and UK, I would rather say Russia is backing Zionist politics, but how Putin/Medvedev have lead their Goliarcs and bankers in their own country - seems that there is some other power balancing situation - Eastern, maybe Buddist coalition against Christian states behind the curtains.

Russia also reportedly agreed to delay the delivery of advanced S-300 anti-aircraft missiles to Iran, another key Israeli request.

Iran may acquire the Chinese version of the S-300, known as the HQ-9. Or the Chinese may help Iran built their own advance SAMs, like many of their other missile systems.
